Customer Reviews:
From the start, it was the most horrifying experience I’ve ever had in a salon. I sat down and my stylist barely spoke with me and didn’t even make sure she knew the details of what I wanted. All of the stylists came over while I had my hair done, ignoring me and complaining about their work. The ‘whiney teenagers’ they have to do for prom, the ‘terrible clients’ they see, and how they didn’t want to be there.
So. Uncomfortable.
My stylist began putting dye over my natural roots even when I insisted I did not want any of my natural hair dyed (I only wanted my previously treated hair dyed back to match my roots). Both stylists then began insisting that I needed my roots dyed, and yelling at me to try to convince me.
I was so uncomfortable with this but managed to insist I did not want this done to which my stylist begrudgingly accepted. She had already dyed about half of my natural hair at this point.
At the end, I could tell my hair was too dark. I let my hair dry but it was still nearly black. When I came in and told her this and asked what could be done, I had both stylists and their client yelling at me, telling me I was wrong. I showed them a photo of my natural hair and how this was different and they said it was because of my camera. I was almost in tears over this yet they proceeded to be extremely condescending. I was yelled at while they asked me to show where I went to cosmetology school at and told me they knew better and I was wrong.
I’m so devastated. Both for my hair, that apparently can’t be fixed and is extremely unnatural looking, and for the incredibly awful treatment I received.
