I worked for Stevie for just over a year, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had. He took me under his wing just before I graduated cosmetology school and taught me pretty much all the tricks I know now. I love the environment there and the salon crew became some of the closest friends I’ve ever had. If it weren’t for moving out of state I would 100% still be working for Stevie. For any new or experienced individuals in the beauty industry looking for a job, I full heartedly recommend checking this salon out. Everyone makes you feel like family and are the most helpful individuals I’ve ever met in this industry. I have nothing but love for my family back at blood sweat and shears ❤️

My daughter got a botched, uneven cut from a different salon in town, so I took her in to see Steve @ Blood Sweat & Shears and he did an amazing job at fixing my daughter’s hair! She’s super happy and that makes this mama happy!
Not only did he do a great job, but the shop has a great atmosphere, beautifully decorated and I got greeted by the sweetest dog when we entered the establishment! A place that has dogs is a place I want to be! Thank you so much Steve!! So happy I found this little gem 💖 we’ll be back!

I always leave happy with my haircut. Not only is it extraordinarily worth the price they charge, but the incredibly sweet and pleasant staff that I have interacted with on a consistent basis. The conversations are always a great time, and if you prefer not to talk there is sometimes a very adorable dog that makes appearances that you can pet instead! 10/10 I will be incredibly upset if I move away and need to find a new stylist. Stevie and Jacinda are irreplaceable!
