I am going to post the pictures and let you decide. My daughter and I went together. Both girls were extremely nice. This is how my daughter’s one hour pedissage looked. I never received a massage at all. Plus my cuticles didn’t get the work that was needed either. She rubbed some lotion on my feet in the beginning but I never got any massage. Very disappointing.

Worst hack job of a haircut ever from Kellsie. This happened back in December, but I decided I was too angry at that time to post, so I’ve waited until now. I asked for layers and this is what she did to me. One side was completely fine, the other looked like it was cut by a five year old. She curled it before I checked the cut, so I didn’t even notice how bad it was for several days until I washed it. Which, okay, partly my fault for not checking it first, but I had just worked a twelve hour shift the night before and was exhausted and not thinking clearly.
I messaged the owner to ask for a refund and she offered to fix it for free, so I took a chance and went back. She blended it in as best she could, but clearly there was no way to completely fix it because so much hair was missing. Which especially sucked because I was trying to grow it out. I barely got an apology and her “excuse” was it’s the holidays and so everyone is busy and Kellsie was probably rushing.
The only good thing about the experience is the owner offered to open an hour early for me since I work nights and couldn’t wait for the salon to open that day because I needed to be in bed too early. But, it took 2 haircuts and 4 months for my hair to finally look good again.
Everybody else seems to have good results, so I guess it’s like Russian roulette. Your hair will probably look fine. Or it might look like it was cut with a chainsaw. Good luck.

Kellsie was amazing today! I was nervous about getting my hair cut because my last cut at a different location went completely wrong. But Bella salon was so relaxing and welcoming, I absolutely loved it! I already set up my follow up appointment.

I wish I could say that I loved my experience at Bella but unfortunately I did not. The young lady who provided the service, such that it was, was very pleasant but that’s the only real positive I have. The description for the pedissage indicates that it includes an extended massage and I was truly looking forward to that. My feet get massaged more by husband absent-mindedly rubbing them while watching TV than they did for a service that is way too overpriced. My 13 year old could do a better job painting them than what I paid to have done today. I put shoes and socks on almost 4 hours after having my toes painted and the paint looks terrible. Drip dry was used as well as 3 rounds of RapiDry spray and no shoes for 4 hours so there’s no reason why they should look like they do. After reading several reviews it seems like Bella Salon and Spa is more focused on providing excellent customer service for the salon portion of the business and providing mediocre services for the spa portion (at least the pedicure department). The pedissage that I received today was a complete and total waste of money.

After being greeted by the friendly staff, there is hardly any wait to get your appointment started. I have always been offered a neck and shoulder massage with an included aroma of my choice as soon as I sit in the chair, which is a free service. I transitioned to using Aveda haircare products and these are the best ones I have used yet. I especially love the new “be curly advanced” line recommended by Cody. The overall Aveda experience is what I believe sets this salon apart from the others in Bowling Green.
