Walking by with my sister. She said – “Do you mind?”. I said, “go for it.” She wanted to get her nails done and gelled (?). So she did. I wandered around a bit and met back at the salon. The women here were professional and welcoming. Quick and efficient. So there. Cool, color changing, crazy nail stuff.

The very first visit I ever had the owner convinced me to get a certain type of healthier fake nails and charged me $80 without telling me the extra cost. Two chipped and one broke off the next day. She did fix it for free. The next time I went in for a basic pedicure and fill with shellac polish and was charged $30 extra for my nails because I want French tips and a line and $20 extra on my toes for tips. My total was $135 and the lines looked so badly done. They made me come back in to show the owner because she wasn’t there and all she offered was $10 off my next visit. I won’t be going back, although the workers are nice it feels like a scam and they don’t do that good of a job.

I love going to Bella Nails to get my nails done. The staff is so kind and hard working and my nails always turn out beautiful. It’s a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable environment. It’s location is in the heart of Ballard so it’s very easy to get to. This is the only place I’ll go to get my nails done as they do such an amazing job.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. They incentivize 5 star reviews for a 15% off coupon. They couldn’t do my nails correctly the first time or the second time, I won’t be going in a third time for them to fix them.
First time at this salon but I live close and would love a salon within walking distance. Made an appointment for a full set of acrylics with shellac for Sunday. Was serviced on time. Later that day my nails started to look “wobbly” because the shellac hadn’t cured properly (pic). I thought, new salon, no big deal. Went back the next day and they fixed the 5 nails that hadn’t cured properly in less than 30 min only to encounter the exact same problem later in the day. I get my nails done to save time later down the line, not have to visit twice to still have an incomplete manicure. Extremely infuriating.

This was a very rushed experience. From the moment you walk in. I started with a good nail technician that seemed to be taking her time. I was then transferred to Tammy who just buffed my nails aggressively (pulling out a hang nail the other technician did not have time to get to yet – laughing at me when I flinched and continuing on). Because she skipped the cuticle section she didn’t bother to paint my nails all the way to the edge of the nail. I would not recommend this salon at all. They will also push you to tip at the end.
