While I thought this was a one time event, I attempted to come back today. I made an appt, walked in, and she said no. Told me to leave that that she’s not doing my pedicure because I have ingrown nails. She said she doesn’t cut nails or deal with ingrown nails. I asked her if she was serious and reminded her that the issue had nothing to do with my nails, but the color that she didn’t have properly matched. I’ve never had this happen anywhere. It’s crazy. Only in California man.
Sorry for weird foot pic but these are my toes 2 months needing a pedicure. I don’t think there’s anything crazy about my nails lol.

Lousy, rough regular manicure. $17.00. The tech barely spoke English so I was not able to fully communicate the shape I wanted. Working alone, she frequently stopped to take calls, look at texts, and call someone to come in and help at 2pm, so it took longer than it should have.
She didn’t ask if I wanted my cuticles pushed back or trimmed (pushed, never trimmed). Or if I wanted the surface of my nails to be filed rough (no). She just powered through, snipping away, quickly and with fervor, and using her filing brick REALLY HARD on my nails.

I let it all go because it was already in process and I needed my nails trimmed as I am away from my gear at home and don’t want to buy more. Yes, I tipped generously — she did the work, however badly.
But I won’t be back and I sure wouldn’t let her touch my feet!
I called and booked a 9:30 appointment for Thursday morning on the Wednesday evening they said no problem. I also booked online.
I turned up on Thursday morning at 9:30 and the woman was so rude, she said she had double booked my appointment, she can’t do my nails now anymore so come back later in the afternoon, ok.
Safe to say I did not return and would not recommend this salon.
