They must’ve cleaned up their act since two years ago; I haven’t had any problem with lateness whenever I go there and my stylist is always nice, personable, and chatty (in a good way). I only went there for hair cuts, but I’ve typically had positive results. The ladies at the desk are always nice, and they remember your name and face when you walk in. You’re not just “another client” there.

The few negative things I will say is that they have a fairly high turnover rate (I’ve had three stylists in roughly four years) and I have had hair dye wash out very quickly. I think that might’ve been my bad though since I washed my hair in warm water, but still, I felt it was money wasted. My stylist knew what to do with curly hair, how to tame it and calm it down, and always recommended me the best product.

All in all, good place to be. I’m going to miss it now that I’ve moved.

I was very disappointed in the Salon and stylist. I had a cut and color (short hair) and was told it would be $65, yet the stylist charged me $100. It’s no different than going to a restaurant and their menu says $5 for a burger but they charge you $12 because they feel like it. Although I don’t wish anything bad on the stylist’s family, she went on and on about some major expenses her family had and I felt my $100 hair cut helped to fund that at the time. As for the color, I am VERY disappointed as it isn’t anything close to the color I asked for! She assured me it “would be” in 48 hours. It’s not even close. Do I have $100 to spend?—yes. But not on a “less than” cut and color that I could have gotten some where else for way less.
This salon thinks they are “all that” and unfortunately they are not.

I had been in the salon a couple of times to get my eyebrows waxed by Sheila and overall she did a good job. So I decided to get my hair colored and get a Brazilian blowout by a different stylist because she is the only one who performs this service in town. My initial visit went ok I asked for a bayalage with caramel highlights to compliment my dark brown hair. I received blonde brassy highlights and they did not look like bayalage. The stylist proceeded to partially blow-dry my hair and flatiron it while still slightly moist and she added so much hair products that made my hair feel heavy. We had previously discussed the brazillian blowout and price. She had quoted me $150 plus a shampoo and conditioner on a few different occasions. I scheduled my follow up appointment for the blowout and confirmed the price of $150 but she excluded the shampoo and conditioner stating that the owner was no longer including them which was no big deal. I returned the following week and requested that she add some toner to my highlights because I wasn’t satisfied with the color. While I sat in her chair getting the color corrected she decided to give me a run down and inform me that she would be charging me $90 and hour to perform the blowout. It would take her up to two hours but she wasn’t sure and could not give me an exact amount as to the total amount she would be charging me so I could potentially be paying well over $270!! I informed her that this was not what we had agreed on when I confirmed the appointment the week before she acted as though we never discusseddiscussed the treatment. She continued to state that she had no control over pricing because it was up to the owners discretion. She is not an honest hairstylist and quite frankly she wasn’t very good. Long story short stay away from the hair stylist who performs the brazillian blowout because she can’t get her pricing straight. She’s not very experienced and she is very condescending to her clients instead of trying to salvage her client relationship she suggested that I go somewhere in GI that is much cheaper. I’ve been to many highend salons in California and money was not the problem it was her lack of customer service skills and business practice.

This place was just okay. I got my hair and nails done there for my wedding. The lady made my fingers bleed while doing my nails so my nail beds looked terrible for photos, and the hair stylist was over a half hour late to do one of my bridesmaid’s hair. Other than that, my experience was fine. They did a very nice job with our hair styles.
