I hadn’t had my hair done since the pandemic started and I had a big trip coming up and really needed to get something done with my hair. Dannie at Bamboo salon worked some magic and really transformed my hair as you can see from the photos shown right to left. (My hair was down to butt before the first photo was taken) I am in love with my hair again, it feels and looks so much healthier. I love how no matter how I wear my hair, it looks so gorgeous. I definitely plan to go back! Dannie is amazing, I highly recommend her and this salon!

My rating is for the customer service. The haircut for my toddler was fine (simple trim and bangs), but the service I received was not. I chose this place because I was able to make an appointment online and there were openings on the time and date I needed. Also their price for a kids haircut according to that website was cheaper than most places.

We were running 5 minutes late on an icy day so it’s not like we could drive any faster. Plus anyone knows having young kids could mean getting out the house later than planned. Well I called to let them know we were running just a few minutes late and the person who answered basically said “well hurry because I have an appointment right after”. We rushed and I was basically a hot mess, even almost getting hit by a car in the parking lot, dropping our kid’s shoes on the street as I carried her running into the salon. I did not want to miss our appointment because it was much needed. As we rushed into the salon, the lady we had an appointment with Sonja) and another hair stylist were staring at us and I had this feeling they were talking about me. This made me feel weird and self conscious and embarrassed. The haircut took barely 5 minutes and I’m sure the next customer wouldn’t have minded waiting a min or two and yes I understand this is why we have appointments, but it sucks when businesses lack empathy, understanding, warmth and compassion.

I came in today for a quick trim for my bangs, she let me walk in. The girl who did my hair was very kind and made me feel welcomed. She made sure I was happy with the length and thickness of my hair. Would come here again 5/5 stars.

When I got to the salon for my appointment I was told that there was a problem with their new scheduling system and that my stylist wasn’t available. The stylists there were very apologetic (even though it wasn’t their fault). They were so nice and friendly-and Jinny offered to do my hair instead. I had a great time in her chair and my blonde hair looks awesome! Would highly recommend Jinny and this salon.

Sonia always does an amazing job cutting my hair. I always leave with my hair looking and feeling great. She’s very knowledgeable about hair care and which products to use to maintain style and healthy hair!
