Finding a hair salon/dresser can be so daunting when you move to a new city. I am so grateful to have found Alysia and this amazing salon. It is such a treat every time I come in. I know that I will be taken care of. Great service and amazing hair, every time.

Extremely disappointed. She told me that she could get me to vanilla blonde and it never got to it. I looked orange all over. I mentioned I always had issues with the orange and she guaranteed me that I could get there. And it didn’t get there. She advised me that I’d need another treatment and it’d be the same price. Then I asked her to go lighter and she gave attitude. Technically she had attitude the whole morning. She then turned my hair gray instead with orange and purple streaks. Also I asked to match my eyebrows to my hair and she burned the skin on my eyebrows and it was such a disaster I had her color it back to black. I went in with a vision and came out a horror show. I’ve been going to aveda salons since I was 16 and this has been the worst experience so far. I don’t think I’ll ever go to the Hyde park location ever again. Also it was offered a scalp and hand massage at the beginning of the service and I never received anything. All the other clients were offered drinks except me. I had to asked another stylist. She also ruined my new shirt. Half of the back is completely bleached and destroyed. I’m extremely dissatisfied and furious. I’ll be writing reviews everywhere

Amazing experience every time I go. Kira has been my stylist for years and is the BEST!! Everyone is so friendly, and makes you at home. I always feel like I am listened to, staff is knowledgeable, and aims to please. Would recommend to anyone and everyone! Love going here!

I have never experienced this before. Do not come to get your nails done. The girl doing my nails was very nice, but I don’t think she’s ever done nails before. My pedicure alone took over an hour and fifteen minutes. I have never seen anyone put polish on the way that it was put on my nails. While doing my pedicure, she was putting a scrub on my leg, didn’t even get all of it off. Then, she’s putting a mask on my feet and legs, she accidentally gets it on her clothes. She takes the towel, wipes the mask off her clothes and then puts the towel on my leg. She is scraping my nails with the cuticle pusher and pulling it off with the same tool. The pedicure looked awful and she didn’t even get to lotion because she said the toes were still drying and we will do it after. The same process happened to my manicure which also took an hour to do. I have never seen a manicure come out this way. Clumps, spots, it looked awful. I didn’t even want the lotion because I was there from 11am until 1pm just for a mani and pedi. I got to the register to cash out and I informed her how disappointed I was in the service and I showed her my nails and she was shocked at the service I received. She instantly gave me the number to call management to get a refund. I informed the girl at the register that I will pay for my toes because I wear sneakers everyday but I cannot pay for this manicure. She told me it is set in the system that way but management will give me the refund as she saw how my nails were. I agree and go to grab my card, and in addition to me have strokes and blotches on my nail, they still were not dry and smudged back. The girl offered to have it fixed but it was already over two hours and I did not need to sit longer with someone who did not know how to paint nails. I instantly called management after my appointment and explained and they gave me a refund immediately which I am relieved about. If you offer a service, please have licensed and experienced individuals performing the service. Absolutely shocked and disappointed, I ended up having to take the polish off and paint my nails at home instead, after having to rearrange my entire day for an appointment that took two hours and this mani pedi was for an event I had this weekend .

Brianne is a rockstar! 🤩 Firstly, she is a sweetheart. She genuinely cares about her clients and them leaving satisfied with their results. Secondly, She is knowledgeable about hair care and most importantly, listens to what I am asking for, regarding my “style of the moment” look. Repeat customer for sure!
