We had a party for a mother’s/daughter day celebration on Saturday May 11th. The ladies were so accommodating and helpful to us all. We were all able to get manicures and pedicures in a timely manner without feeling rushed. I highly recommend the spa!

Vy did a SNS manicure & pedicure last Thursday 6/13 and these photos of my nails were taken Friday 6/14 and Saturday 6/15 just 1 & 2 days after I spent $144 + tip to have them done. My cuticles look horrible and the top coat was cracked on all nails in less than 24 hours and on 1 nail the SNS completely cracked. I was busy Friday and Saturday and didn’t have time to stop by the salon to have them repaired. By Sunday 2 SNS nails were cracked so I stopped by for repairs. Another employee begrudgingly fixed the 2 nails and got up and walked away. NOTHING was done to fix the cracked top coat on all of my nails, but it was late and I was pissed so I left.

I returned today to have the SNS removed and replaced with gel polish because it looked horrible as 2 MORE nails had cracked and the faulty top coat that was not fixed Sunday was still on them.

The “manicure” Vy gave me just a week ago was clearly not done well as you can see in the photos less than 24 hours after it looked like I needed a manicure. Not to mention the products used were faulty and didn’t hold up. So today, to have all of the FAULTY WORK corrected I was charged $42 + tip and given a loud & rude attitude by Vy who said to me, “….it’s because I fixed them twice!” Not only was this inaccurate but UNACCEPTABLE to speak to a customer this way! I came in ONCE on Sunday to have this fixed and they weren’t, NOT TWICE!

I also noticed today, while I sat next to Vy servicing another customer, the care she took to ensure the customer’s SNS manicure was PERFECT! So perfect Vy even staged and photographed them! All the while I’m sitting there having my manicure re-done….. 😡🤬😡

I’ve CANCELLED any existing appointments on her books, I WILL NOT BE BACK! ✌🏾

I LOVE this place. I followed my nail lady, and now friend, Rose from another salon when she came to Aura. What a wonderful atmosphere of very friendly and personable people. Both the employees and the clientele are kind and welcoming. Rose is (still) a genius with dip manicures. I wear my natural nails longer now, and in a coffin shape, and she always rocks it.

The layout of the salon is airy and open, lots of natural light and beautiful interior design. Many pedicure chairs, so I’ve never actually seen anyone having to wait. Candy and drinks for free with service. Highly recommend Aura. All the ladies are so sweet.

My friend and i went for a full spa day-mani, pedi, facial, massage. The whole team was very nice and Gina who did the facial and massage totally rocked!! I was also pleasantly surprised to see a wide open space decorated with tasteful artwork and thriving greenery all around. Next time i visit from CA, i will make this my first stop!

Initial Experience:

My original review was 1-star because they made me cry. I had a wedding to go to. I showed what I wanted; they did something else. One of the nail techs proceeded to talk trash in her language while the one doing my nails tried to shush her. I quietly cried in frustration because I could feel her vitriol and lack of empathy, and no one acknowledged or apologized.

Balanced Edit:

The shop is clean and organized. I like that appointments can be booked online and confirmation texts/emails are sent.

Hanna gave me a 5-star pedicure experience.

Also, Rose is a perfectionist, so though my nails weren’t what I came in for, they were beautifully done. Rose even lined up my fingers to ensure the shape and length were uniform.

As for the meanie, I leave her to God.

I would go back for Hanna and Rose. 💗
