Customer Reviews:
Customer service was Great!
Not many colors to select from for Gel nails. ( 2 booklets)
They didn’t have the color I wanted, so I chose basic white tips… well at least I thought that was basic.
I asked for a soak off, instead she used about 10 nails to pluck my old acrylic nails off.
Before applying acrylic they informed me that my basic nails and length would cost me $85 and ask me if that was ok.
I believe the acrylic they use for regular customers is pink. I’m a brown girl who likes the natural look for a brown girl. I had to ask twice for a clear regular acrylic.
(I chose this place because I saw all the pretty designs… only to find out that they only have a select amount of colors to choose from.
In the pictures, my nails are the plan white tips and a friends nails have the Jewels. Her nails are almost two weeks old and she paid $90 for nails and toes at another shop.
Could be the area they are in
Here’s a rewritten version of your critique:
The acrylic nail service I recently experienced was both disappointing and concerning. The toxic chemicals used caused a severe reaction on my hand, and the service provider aggressively charged me $5 for every touch-up during the procedure. When I opted to skip the polish to avoid further charges, the technician rudely informed me that the cost remained the same. This practice seems unfair, as you end up paying extra for additional services but are charged the same amount if you choose to forego certain parts of the service.
This was my second visit to this nail salon, and unfortunately, the service quality was just as poor as the first time. As a magazine publisher, it’s troubling to see how the cost of a service that used to be $30 has inflated to over $60, despite the use of subpar products. It appears that these salons are capitalizing on premium pricing while offering cheap, toxic products.
I strongly recommend seeking out local American-owned nail salons instead. Not only do they offer a more respectful approach to customer service, but they also keep our dollars within the community. The lack of reinvestment into local communities by these outsourced salons is unacceptable. Opt for a local American-owned salon where you can expect fair pricing and better service, without the use of harmful chemicals.
