The atmosphere was good but that’s the best I can say. I got a shellac manicure with chrome and within 8 hours it started coming off. I came in to get them repaired and this is what I got. There is so much gel polish on my skin. I’ve never had this experience at a salon before. So so weird and I’m afraid to peal some of the polish off my fingers because it’s attached to the nail too and I don’t want to ruin them again!

I did ask if chrome didn’t last as long as regular shellac and the lady just giggled at me, no answer…

My go to nail salon! I love that we can schedule appointments online. I never have to wait and they are always on time. They always remember that I like cold water for my pedicures in the summer too. I usually do dip but I just got shellac! I love going here. Love having a glass with my evening appointments 🙂 I can’t believe these are my real nails. They take very good care of my nails! I got a little golden sparkle for the holidays. It’s perfect! The color is champagne for the nail design.

Their manicure is the best, but their pedicure is something i will not come again for. The picture attached is the one when i haven’t left the salon yet after my pedicure.

I used to love this place!! I have been going here for 3 years, 1-2 times a month. I love being able to book online and not have to talk to anyone. I never go without an appointment. They were always on time with appointments and it seemed really clean. Wine with certain services is always a bonus! No complaints about any of the techs, except one isn’t great, but I’ve had worse. They would have one tech doing my manicure while another was doing my pedicure. That is huge to me because of the time savings.
The last 7 months have been awful!! It doesn’t seem as clean as it used to (lack of dusting). EVERY SINGLE appointment I’ve had in the last 7 months has been delayed. I’ve also noticed other people with appointments having to sit around and wait for someone. I’ve had to pass on massages with pedicures and manicures because them being behind has caused me to run late. Ultimately I’ve been paying for servies I’m not getting. Today was my last straw when I had booked a pedicure and manicure and the pedicure was 10 minutes late. The tech said “thank you” as if that was the only service I had booked. She told the lady at the front who had checked me in and she seemed surprised I had also booked a manicure. It took another almost 15 minutes for someone to even start my manicure. I skipped polish altogether because my nails just need a break from it! This entire process today took an hour and it really shouldn’t have been more than probably 30-40 minutes. I dont know if they have a staffing issue or bad booking system, but I won’t be going back.

Slightly over priced if you just want the basic nail bar experience. Because is simply isn’t a nail bar. The chairs and work stations have plenty of space so you never feel crammed into a tiny nail bar. The CLEANLINESS of this place is the absolute selling point for me. I used to go somewhere else before here and never went back to my old nail girl bc every tech at Ascend was better than her. Everything is cleaned, sanitizer and comes out of a sealed sanitation bag. You get a glass of wine, water, or tea.
They do *great* nail work, I wouldn’t get nail art unless it’s *very* simple tho, they only have one nail tech that does art and she is rushed and it never comes out exactly right. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars. If I pay 80 for nail art, it should look like the picture to an extent. The art tech has told me she has no experience with art, drawing or art techniques, so I end up explaining how to properly do the leafs.
I’m planning on getting my own art pens and doing that myself, but the nail quality is worth the stop. Remember to schedule ONLINE
