I am baffled and appalled by my experience at this nail salon. During my manicure, the technician did not redo the nail I requested, leaving it uneven and incomplete. Additionally, my younger sister’s acrylic nails were a disaster—lopsided, uneven, and every nail shorter than the others. When we brought this to the attention of the owner, Kevin, he offered to fix them, but we were unable to stay due to prior commitments and the salon’s location being an hour from our home. The only solution Kevin provided was to clip off the nails and issue a refund, which was not satisfactory. The employees made us feel uncomfortable for rejecting the poor quality of work. To add insult to injury, I was charged again for the service, resulting in a loss of $150 until the initial $100 refund is processed, which could take several days. Now my sister is stuck with unsightly nails until we can find a better salon to fix them and we get the refund to pay for the next service. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment for nail services.

Was looking for a mani-pedi. It had been a few years since I’d had one. A co-worker recommended AK nails and spa. Without an appointment, I wasn’t sure that they would fit me in, but they were able to. The young woman did a wonderful job, considering that my nails aren’t good! Very reasonable pricing! It came to $49. for a gel polish manicure and a regular pedicure.

Very nice, hard working couple- Anna and Kevin- own this salon. I discovered them when I had problems being able to schedule appointments for times that worked for me. They are very attentive and do excellent work. I have had 2 dip powder manicures that are beautiful and really last!

This is after almost FOUR WEEKS!! No nails broken, no chips, no lifting. My nails have never lasted this long in my life and I’ve been to almost every nail salon in this area. The best place if you’re looking for affordable prices, cleanliness, and sweet and professional staff. Really good pedicures too.

Anna and Kevin are amazing. They are both professional. Anna has been one of the best mail techs I’ve ever had. She’s very quick but also thorough and my nails have never chipped . I can go almost a month without seeing her and they do not chip. She’s amazing. Both her and Kevin are married and it’s nice to be in a family owned salon.
