Kay-Z Hair Braiding is absolutely an amazing place to get your hair done! The ladies there are very nice, professional, and give you exactly what you want. They have all different designs so you can choose or if you have a photo of your own, they can copy that and they take request. Loved it and highly recommend.

Love love this salon! These ladies are amazing. They proudly provide the best braiding experience. The owner is such a lovely lady. She always listen to what you need and match you with the right braider. She checked on you to make sure you like the style you chose. My braider was the best on cornrows! I showed her a cornrow style on Pinterest and she did beautifully! My head turned out way better than the picture!
Thanks ladies for your amazing work. I will definitely come back even tho it’s an hour drive! It’s totally worth it 😁

First issue is they do not greet you when you walk in… just a bunch of people staring at you. Took my daughter to get feed in straight backs (something less costly) to see how they do. Which would determine if I would be back… picked my daughter up and her hair style isn’t what I told or showed her (the owner I suppose) in the picture. Furthermore, I felt like because I didn’t do a more expensive hair style (individuals, knotless, etc) she could care less how i wanted the style… I’m not pleased with my daughter hair because it’s not what we asked for, when I mentioned it the gave me this blank stare like she couldn’t understand me. They failed the test… myself and my daughter both want individual braids but based off this experience I’m pretty sure WE WONT BE BACK. oh and did I mention it’s a $2 charge to use your credit card there…
A month later… after speaking with the owner about my first visit with my daughter, I decided to let her do my hair and my visit was vastly different than a month ago. I showed her I what I wanted and she asked follow up questions to ensure I knew exactly what i was getting. Second visit MUCH BETTER. Thank you

As requested, I showed the braider a picture of what I wanted and got nothing close to the picture- not even slightly close. This is the second time this has happened to me at this shop, there won’t be a third because I won’t be back. If you don’t want anything specific, give them a try but otherwise, look elsewhere.

That’s it…I tried. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted (at her request) and got nothing close to what I asked for. And because she didn’t show me the first twist before she completed my hair, I’m stuck with this uneven, unraveling, short hair style that I didn’t want. They have officially lost me as a customer. Not to mention I came in 2 hours earlier to accommodate them and got horrible results. The 1st pic is what I asked for. The following pics is what I received.
