Long story: went in for gel removal and basic mani. My usual place was closed so thought I’d give this place a go.
Ultimately, I still have gel on my nails a week later….
I had to plead for the tech to file twice as she refused my request to soak off. She kept telling me this was my “natural nail.” Seemed like laziness to me.
Ironically, she removed an unnecessary amount of cuticle, resulting in sore fingers for the next few days.
For what it’s worth, the client next to me was having a shellac removal and was complaining of how painful it was. Her tech didn’t seem to take her concerns seriously either.
