Customer Reviews:
Great customer service, more than fair prices, and such, such beautiful work.
Got a full set of extensions with UV gel, I can’t recommend him enough!
(PS. Cut up cuticle is my own habits doing, no fault of his aha! His work is so clean and wonderful.)
For a quick review: Kevin was kind, funny, detail oriented, and talented. When I told him I had paid much more for much worse sets, he said that some people are in it for the money, and that you need to have a passion for it. I can tell he does. I’ve never had someone look after my nails so carefully.
For a more detailed review:
As someone who doesn’t get my nails done too often (maybe once or twice a year), I’m often trying new places. After having an appointment fall through at another salon, I was looking online at reviews & photos around the area in hopes of getting in somewhere around the time I had originally planned. I came across Quality Nails & Spa, and thought their nails looked very clean and well done. I gave a call, and when they asked me to come in a bit later, I said I’d give a call back (I was not planning on calling back honestly, I was going to look for somewhere with sooner availability). Before I had the chance to hang up, he asked how soon I could be there!
I had planned on getting a full set, as my natural nails were uneven and very thin & brittle. When I arrived, the first thing he did was look at my nails. He commented on how long they were, and asked how much longer I wanted to go. When I said not much longer than what they were, he gave me the option to do an overlay instead. I had one broken nail, and the rest uneven lengths & shapes, so I didn’t think that would be a possibility. He said he could add a tip to the broken one, and that he’d even out the rest. That was amazing because it saved me money, and both of us time. Throughout the entire process, he was so detail oriented & communicative. I am so particular about my nails because if they’re not exactly right, they’ll drive me completely mental and I’ll tear them off within the week. He looked at my natural nails and asked what shape I liked. I told him which was my favourite, but that I knew my other nails had flatter bed, and so I wasn’t sure if that was possible. He made it work. He noticed one nail was shorter than the others, and asked if I wanted to even them out, or if I wanted to keep as much length as possible. He tested 2 different ‘nude’ shades and asked my preference. He confirmed the exact placement of the designs. All that, and it was still much less expensive than many other salons I’ve been to (although I’d recommend bringing cash – I took a bit of a hit there, but it was my own fault).
He was kind and talkative. He told me about his experience opening the salon & the difficulties that come with that. As other clients came and went, I could tell he has built rapport with his customers. I am now 10 days into this set, and aside from some growth (of course) they still look incredible. Thank you again, I’ve moved abroad but you were just about to make a return customer out of someone who rarely even gets nails!!
