The service was not worth it to me. I honestly feel like my baby niece could have painted my toes better.

The lady was not as friendly as I’m used to… I asked her which is a nice classic red and she just said there’s all the colors on the wall and wouldn’t really help and she bragged about how she’s been doing this for over 20 years but yet she can’t paint in the lines. Before the first day was even up because it was painted on my skin, it lift and at least one nail was missing some polish on the nail and I ended up having to do my nails in less than four days after I paid $60 for the pedicure and 10 for tip. And the lighting in there was very spotlight however when doing someone’s to extra lighting to make sure you’re doing the job properly. I was very disappointed.

One word: QUALITY. Sharita is fantastic! Great personality, really fun and takes great care in ensuring you have a wonderful experience. I don’t know that I’ve ever had this much attention to detail in my previous manicure experiences. If you’re local or just visiting, visit Sharita asap!

This is a little late review. I was visiting from Alabama last month. I wondered in and got the BEST gel manicure I have EVER gotten. It lasted WEEKS with no peeling. Last week I went to my local salon and the gel literally started peeling the next morning. This made me appreciate Miss Sharita’s work even more!
Miss Sharita’s nail prep and application alone was worth the money, but her conversation was just as wonderful! She was so kind and very easy to talk to. If you’re visiting Nashville, hit up Salon J and ask for Sharita!

Really disappointed in my manicure (dip plus tips) that ended up being over $100 USD. Giving two stars only because of how welcoming the front desk was. Check the photos for the quality of the manicure. I had these done 6 days ago. Day 2 I started seeing these weird cracks underneath the surface of all of them. Day 3 there was chipping on my thumb and pinkie nail (rough spots that feel like sand and then chip off. Day 6, a different nail came off, triggering this review. Normally my nails last at least 3 weeks. They also didn’t do the actual manicure/ cuticle care, which you can tell I need from the pics, and should have been included for the price. No massage either. A proper salon would re-do them, which can’t happen because I was just visiting this city, or reimburse a large portion of the cost. I’ll update if they reach out.

I was actually a walk in, and I did want gel nails, but needed builder on one nail that was broken (something that I’ve done many times before). They said that they don’t have builder at their salon and that I would need tips. But, the kicker was that they wouldn’t do it on just one nail, it had to be a full set. Kind of a surprising policy, but I was already there. One tech started the tip selection, but the other returned and said that she had the time and completed the entire mani, excluding one tip application.

The offer for a complimentary mani is disingenuous, as they know I was visiting. Also surprised that they didn’t comment on the original missing manicure (cuticle care etc) that happens before the colour is applied. If they couldn’t accommodate, I could have visited another salon. It was 9AM. I could have found someplace else as I had the whole day free.

Again, reception was welcoming and tried their best. But the quality of work is just not there. The fact that the complementary mani is an empty promise means they don’t actually care about the quality for visitors. Can’t recommend. Downgrading to one star.
