Royal nails & spa bent creek. auburn al

Used to like this place but my most recent visit was pretty bad. The dip color I picked out was like a pearl color with a slight pink tone but the nails I got were a totally different color. Plus a few of my nails are very visibly crooked to the point that other people have pointed it out. I’m attaching pics of what they looked like right after. I’m not someone who feels comfortable complaining so I had to just pay my $50 and leave very unsatisfied

Today I kept my service simple with a 4 in 1 pedi and a gel mani. I felt like my mani was rushed today so I am praying that my nails got enough time under the light. But this morning the spa got swamped with back to school treatments and I know they we’re trying to get everyone in and out.

I highly enjoy the staff at Royal. They are very friendly and have wonderful conversations conversation.

I don’t recall the name of the lady who did my manicure. However, she did an excellent job, and I will be utilizing her service when it’s time for a fresh polish.

Really nice experience. Leg massage was top-notch. My daughter wanted a flower but they forgot and the technician left because it was nearly the end of the day. We weren’t charged for it, but it was disappointing for her. The polish held up, but my polish didn’t go to the cuticle so pedicure looked like it was 2 weeks worth of nail growth. I would go back because it was a nice pedicure. I just might inspect more closely to make sure the entire nail is painted.

First time customer and it was AWFUL and expensive. I wanted a deluxe spa experience with me & my 2 daughters “special girl day”. Asked for the full treatment for girls- pedicures and manicures, the best option available and I just wanted basic pedicure/manicure with gel toes & dipped nails. One technician was so sweet and polite with my youngest, my oldest got the worst service. I was told “polish only” for her, while watching the other daughter get a massage, etc. my oldest asked for a simple smiley face design on her thumbs and did not move for at least 20 minutes so they could dry. My gel toes were nice, technician was super polite. I asked for a simple design for dipped nails (literally a white stripe across the top portion of my nails, repeatedly showed an image) and the tech didn’t understand so I showed another the picture and she rudely said WHY DO YOU KEEP SAYING TOP OF NAIL THAT IS THE CUTICLE! Yikes! Nevermind. My daughter showed me her smiley faces and they were streaked, she’s very observant and said it happened when they put a clear coat on and it smeared so I showed it to the tech, she said it was bc my daughter moved, she did repair it which I appreciated- but look at this. We literally got in the car, came home and she went to show her daddy and this is what they look like. I’ve never been treated like that ever at a salon. And I wasn’t the only one, a lady sat beside me and after repeatedly being talked down to finally said “I WANT A MANICURE, YES THE CUTICLES PUSHED BACK, I don’t want polish I want a MANICURE” so I realized I wasn’t the only one they were being short with. It was awful, my girls are heart broken and I paid WAY more than I’ve ever paid at a salon. I do appreciate the sweet young lady that gave my youngest great service and talked with them while I was finishing up. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough

Updated edit- less than 24 hours all 99.9% of polish on both daughters nails completely gone. They didn’t pick at them. Had a quick bath last night and woke up to this. Unsure if the images loaded or not but there is no polish on youngest daughters nails and the one has minimal Polish at all
