I had a wonderful experience at Uptown Galleria Nails Spa today! Joe did a beautiful ombré nail set with some added bling (!) and N (?) did a wonderful relaxing Paradise Pedi. The decor is lovely and light and airy and I was treated like royalty. Maybe that’s because of the British accent, though? LOL
The receptionist was very friendly and attentive. Great job, guys!
I could not fault them and I’ll definitely be going back.

This is my new favorite nail salon in Houston! It’s a gorgeous, relaxing experience from the moment you walk in. There are so many color choices and all are organized by the type of polish you want so it’s easy to understand. The staff is really friendly and clearly very talented. I went simple with this dip french set on my natural nails, but even this feels elevated due to the meticulous shaping and precise polish. Definitely book your next appointment at Uptown Galleria Nails!

If I was a local, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! Uptown Galleria Nails & Spa is on the 3rd Floor of a swanky Royal Oaks District (Galleria area) building! (There are stairs AND an elevator!) The interior was modern, sleek, and had so much natural light!
The two team members that assisted me today was Lee (Dip Powder Mani) and Anne (Basic Pedi w/ Polish) – both were absolutely amazing!! Anne and Lee took their time on my nails to ensure I looked my best and they were perfect and I so appreciated their kindness and care! I talked to Lee so much and it was wonderful learning more about him (he speaks 3 languages – Vietnamese, French, English) he has a wonderful wife and the MOST PRECIOUS toddler ❤️😍

Two stars due to owner’s mother being weird if not outright racist and spending over 3 hours in the salon. We came on a busy Saturday for a pedicure and full set. Instead of telling us the wait would be over an hour, they sit us down and remove our shoes and make me wait 45 mins to start on my toes (and my bf over an hour). We didn’t get offered beverages until an hour in. While getting my pedicure, my technician’s regular walks in and she speeds up quickly so my pedi is literally only 15 minutes (they didn’t even ask me what pedicure I wanted) and they don’t finish my toes for over 30 minutes and then they are so sloppily done by the owners mother. All in all we spend over 3 hours there. They’re only getting the 2 stars instead of one due to the nail technician did BEAUTIFUL work. FINALLY we go to pay and are about to walk out when the owner’s mother rushes over and makes my boyfriend show his ID. she literally did this to no one else and I watched over a dozen people check out. It isn’t lost on me that my bf was the only black male in the salon and the only one made to show his ID. I felt extremely uneasy after that and will not be returning.
