Wow what a phenomenal experience! The environment is super clean friendly and welcoming. I felt very calm and safe!

As an afro Latina is always hard to go into a hair salon and not feel welcomed or the hairdresser does it understand my hair or not knowledgeable about my texture of hair. Simony understood my hair texture and was very knowledgeable.

She used this machine to help me understand what the products I was using was currently doing to my hair. She taught me the difference of Aveda products and the products that I was using giving me the knowledge and understanding what was best for my hair and also for my health.

She took her time and made me feel no question was a stupid question. She didn’t rush on my hair and again had a lot of patience and helping me understand the importance of my health for my hair.

I just had a gastric sleeve done about 6 months ago and I’m losing some hair so as you can tell by the pictures I feel very empowered and excited after speaking to Simony about my hair and what to do for the next 6 months.

I didn’t feel like she was pushing the Aveda products at all, she gave me a couple of examples to take home and try. Which I thought was great because she even helped me find an Aveda school /salon here in Jacksonville Florida that I could go to before I even start buying the products.

As we got to talk more I told about my blemishes and they’d already have any products for this. OMG it took me to the back as she knew that I had a lot of shame of being without my cover up. She told me how to wash my face yes you heard right wash my face with Aveda products. And then she reapplied my foundation/ Aveda. When I tell you I feel like a million bucks I did!

Also the products in my hair was she only used I believe two things made my hair feel so fluffy and light not oily or heavy. I highly recommend you to book an appointment and experience this beautiful environment full of positivity energy.

Oh and I got a sexy shower cap that I also used to sleep with until I get myself a silk sleeping cap.

A review about their customer service and communication. I can’t speak to their services as I never got in. Waited over six months for an appointment as a new client with a particular stylist. A few days before it was scheduled someone called me to reschedule, pushing me out an additional six weeks. Then a month later they emailed me to cancel the appointment altogether. I understand there are special circumstances impacting availability but if you are not taking new clients, it would be nice to let people know up front or at least offer some kind of explanation. Waste of time.

My curls were brought back to life after just one curly cut appointment with Patricia! I loved my entire experience, everyone was so knowledgeable & welcoming!! Looking forward to my next appointment!

I went to Simony today to have my hair dyed and cut. She is absolutely incredible and educated me on my curls and how to take better care of them. The ladies at this salon are always so welcoming and it’s a very comfortable environment. I definitely recommend this salon and Simony especially for all the curly hair baddies in Providence. My hair is healthy, bouncy, and amazing even after dying it! 10/10, recommend!

I had a great experience and I will definitely be back! I haven’t gotten my hair cut or done professionally in almost 3 years due to being a busy new mom so I was nervous and excited. However, the results exceeded my expectations 🥹 Simony made feel so welcomed from the minute I got there, and asked me throughly about what I wanted to get done. Then, she did an amazing job on my curly hair without using any heat! All while chatting like old friends. ❤️ I feel beautiful and I can’t stop taking pictures of my new haircut 😂 thank you Simony!!
