This past weekend I decided to try the nail salon closest to my house. I loved my other one but it was a bit of a drive. So I decided to give this one a go. I called ahead to see what the wait was and they told me it was only 10 minutes. I told them great, that I would be there in 5 minutes. When I arrived I told them I was the one who called and they told me 10 minutes, which I expected. However, that 10 minute wait ended up being 40 minutes. I could have left but I still wanted to try them out as I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.
4 days later, my thumb nail polish chipped. Now I was pretty bummed out as I have actually never experienced a gel acrylic polish chip in all of my years. I have been getting my acylic nails for years and I usually have them for a month or more! So I decided to stop by during my work break to see if they could quickly re-paint it. I expected to have a small wait as I knew they would be working on customers, but I also expected that someone would be able to help fix it as I had already paid for the service. This was not the case. When I got the attention from the lady who did my nails, she questioned when I came in. I told her Saturday and that I needed to get it repainted. She told me she was working on someone and that I would have to wait. I asked about how long as I am on my work break. She responded with, “go to work, then come back.” Her response was rude, in fact that whole situation of what I thought would be handled, friendly apologetically was the complete opposite.
This was the last straw with this place. When I tried to give the the benefit of the doubt for them being 40 minutes late, to having to go back for a chipped gel polish, to them basically telling me to leave when I asked for it to be fixed.
I will be going back to my usual place.

I am so so happy I found this place. And I’m so so sad I didn’t go before! It is so close to my house! First of all, they got me in on a Saturday last minute. Second, it is super clean & the overall energy is super calm. The workers were talking, but they were like joking around & laughing a lot. They were so concerned for my comfort, even providing pillows for my arm so it wouldn’t get tired when she was sculpting my nails. My pedicure was so enjoyable.the gentleman took great care, then massaged my legs so well. It was heaven! The woman who did my nails was so thorough &:precise, & took wonderful care at every step. I haven’t been this pleased with my nails in so long! The o erall vibe was so great, & they treated us like family. And they were so professional & so meticulous w their work. I cannot wait to go back!

UPDATE After one week, the nail polish on my nails are peeling. This is very disappointing! I’ve had manis before and they have lasted at least a month. I’m taking away stars!
My first time here and my first time having a pedi. I got a mani and pedi. I wish I could give more stars then 5. Henry was amazing. I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep. Such an enjoyable experience.

I’m giving this salon 2 stars for friendliness and cleanliness. Although the nail tech (Tiger) not sure if that’s how his name is spelled, he was friendly and maybe that was his best but I wasn’t really happy with the end results of my nails. I wanted the almond shaped but ended up with the square shape instead. I got a full set, gel (regular) pedi because I needed to leave by 1:30 pm so I told the tech that I just want a regular pedi which is $31 plus the extra for gel and I got charged $104.51. I also added $10 tips for both techs so total of $124.51. The other problem is they don’t tell you how much they are charging you for each service. Their prices for the services are not displayed on the wall but in a folder that sits on the counter. I should have asked for a break down of what they’ve charged me for and how much it cost. The color is pretty but the square shape is, I think it’s too wide and it doesn’t look good on me! They just look cheaply done! Maybe I’m too nice and lack of communication on my part as well but next time I’m going to stick to what I want. I also wanted to make Sassy my regular nail salon because it’s so close to where I leave since the one I regularly go to has been sold to someone else.

The business is clean and the employees are extremely nice.. However, I hate how my nails turned out. The more I look at them the more I notice how sloppy they came out. Also I’d like to note that this place was a little pricier than other salons I’ve been to. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
