Christine is the most amazing stylist I’ve ever had. Everyone I have gone to before her has been terrible. I had almost given up on finding someone to cut and style my hair tilI found her. It’s also a plus that she is so personable and funny. I started bringing my grandson there and now he says only christine can cut his hair. Makes it a fun experience.

Linda is absolutely amazing! She always does amazing work on my lashes! She is such a great listener and gives great advice as well! Its not her job to listen to me about my problems and what not but yet she does and she is so sweet and fun to be around! She is very skilled on lashes and knows how to enhance one’s beauty with her technique! Been seeing her for about a year. Each time I see her she doesn’t fail to bring a smile to my face! I always get so many compliments from people after my appointment! Exceptional customer service from Linda! Love her and I love Callidora Day spa!

My experience at Callidora Day Spa was less than ideal. The only reason I didn’t give one star is because the coloring was blended well (I went to another salon to ask).

The short version: I was given unrealistic expectations for what I wanted to achieve. I feel like the stylist, Ashley, was trying to achieve something for her portfolio and did not have my best interest in mind. It was very expensive for what I got. Everyone was friendly, but it was an unprofessional setting compared to what I am used. I moved from out of state about a year ago and this was the first place I tried, based on all the positive reviews.

The long version: I scheduled a cut and color at the beginning of March 2021. This was my very first time coloring my hair, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I had a couple of pictures and I wanted a copper balayage or silver balayage. Since I didn’t know what I was doing, I figured I’d ask the professional. I was encouraged to do the silver. My hair is dark brown and has never been dyed or highlighted. I was told I could achieve what I was looking for in two treatments. My three hour appointment turned into a five and a half hour treatment and I didn’t even get my hair cut. Some of the color didn’t process for as long so parts of my hair were more yellow than platinum. I didn’t love it, but I figured this was part of the process and I kept my second appointment.
This second three hour appointment in April 2021 turned into seven and a half. I have two little kids and I’m extremely lucky that my mom was flexible and able to babysit for me all day. The stylist was juggling three other clients while she was rushing to finish my treatment. Again, I didn’t get a cut, which I had scheduled. A knot was cut out of my hair, the stylist was very, very rough with my head and my scalp was sore the next day. There was a lot of blonde showing through at the end of it and my bangs didn’t even get trimmed. All in all, $500 and 13 hours of my life invested and I’m not pleased at all with the outcome.

I went to another salon and got eight inches cut off. The pictures show my hair after the second treatment and haircut, and what I showed the stylist when I went in to start the process. Needless to say, I will not be getting my hair cut or colored here again. I would have never tried for silver if I had more realistic expectations, which were explained to me by the stylist who cut my hair at a different salon.

Christine is not only one of my dearest friends, but also my beloved hair dresser for 20 + years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

I go to Brittney to get my nails done. She is wonderful. I haven’t tried the other staff, but I don’t doubt they are great.
