I’ll start off by saying I felt like I was rushed and the person that did my nails wasn’t patience. I asked for an SNS manicure and honestly the pictures would say the rest . My cuticles were not even taken care of and I feel like I came in with a more resistance nails than after my nails were done. Was charged $50 for that , Magnolias salon located at North Bergen does a better work for $45 . They are always busy and didn’t want to wait for my appointment when I should have, this place not worth the money . Don’t recommend this place at all. It completely unacceptable and when I told the lady one of my nails didn’t enough color powder like you could see my pinky nail is missing some color her response was that’s your nail. That wasn’t a proper response and she knew she didn’t do a good job. Honestly she deserve no tip, but I felt bad leaving no tip even tho her job looked like if a kid did it time was wasted . Take a look at how magnolias work is very different from what I got yesterday.

I rarely provide negative feedback or these types of reviews on Google, however today I would like to highlight an apparent flaw of this institution. I went to get a simple manicure and pedicure (clean up and no color). I told them this explicitly at the front when I walked in. I received adequate service, however, I would by no means say that their service was above average or even excellent. The pedicurist used an electric filer, and although I endorsed some pain, she continued using it. The manicurist was pleasant and tried to make small talk, however, seemed to be in a rush, and was performing my manicure while I was getting my pedicure. Upon walking out to pay, I was charged $50! I was confused why I was being charged a whopping $50, since I didn’t get nail polish. The same attendant who welcomed me in, then said, that the price is all the same, with or without nail polish. I felt livid internally. Why didn’t he share this information with me when I first walked in? Or at the very least, the stylists should have told me about this while I was getting my nails done. Either way, my first impression of this institution was a negative one, and unfortunately, for that reason, I would not recommend this nail salon to others. However, this is solely my opinion, and I hope others have better experiences than mine.

First time trying out this nail salon. My experience was great. I enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere as well as the professionalism. Amber was the nail tech and she was on point. She pulled up a picture on her phone of different mail shapes to make sure we were on the same page. Multiple times throughout my manicure she checked in with me. I was getting a French, so she asked me if I liked the polish color, thickness of the French. I am really pleased and will come back for a pedicure.

I’ve been here four times so far and haven’t been disappointed. Rosa is so talented. She takes her time, has a keen attention for detail and a ton of patience. She’s so nice too! Never been more happy with a set of nails. It’s also a clean and quiet salon.
Update: Rosa does it again! She consistently does my nails so beautifully. She just painted my nails for the holiday season and they’re perfect. I get gel. I showed her a picture from Pinterest again and she delivered 110%. The oval shape is not easy and she perfects it. Always impressed.
