They were able to fit me in on a Saturday which was amazing! Great service and an amazing relaxing manicure! I can’t wait to go to the old town Alexandria location! Marisa was great!

Picture added and reviewed edit: I got my manicure on August 24 and it is September 10 today. It has lasted almost three weeks !! There is some chipping but this is expected! I’m going back for another manicure today, I’m super satisfied with my first visit!

Honestly, was not very happy with my nails. I got the French manicure with strengthening gel. The woman who did my nails did not do enough cuticle care so within a few days, there was lifting around the cuticle. Also, I’ve had strengthening done at other salons before and this was not what I was used to. It felt more like a gel manicure, and the tips of my nails cracked within a week. For the price, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. The salon is very nice, but that doesn’t mean much to me when the quality is not there. This is my nails at two weeks. I really regret giving NIB a chance just because they are close by. At my previous salons my nails would’ve looked almost brand new at two weeks and I could go about 3 1/2-4weeks before getting a new set. Now at exactly 2 weeks I’m planning to get my nails done again in the next few days, which is ridiculous to me for the standard NIB sets.

At no point that I say anything about hard gel or acrylic nails. I also get strengthening with non-toxic gel polish at the other salons that I go to. You guys saying that people come to you guys based on your values and not your nail services is completely ridiculous. At the end of the day you are nail salon and should be providing quality services to you customers. Nobody would go to a grocery store to buy rotten food just because of the grocery stores values. Do better.

I went to NIB for the first time and I had my nails done by Kate. I was very excited to go to the salon because I’ve been following them on Instagram for a while and seen all the designs. I was not disappointed!

I got a gel manicure with very intricate designs. Kate matched exactly to the inspiration photos I showed her and I am so glad with how it came out. The receptionist, Sara, was also very nice and helpful. She helped me choose my nail colors, along with Kate, so they truly went above and beyond. Aside from the art, the scrub afterwards smelled heavenly and was very relaxing. The entire atmosphere of the store is very peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. In their retail section, they carry some trendy brands that I’ve only seen online. I was so happy to came home with beautiful nails and great quality goods. 10/10

I had an amazing experience for my first time at NIB. Sue was my technician and she really took her time from start to end. I came with a specific design in mind, and Sue did an amazing job recreating the look. I also really
enjoyed speaking with Sue throughout the session. She’s friendly and talented. Overall, the environment and staff were all great. I look forward to coming here again.

I always enjoy coming here! The staff is kind, and the manicure and pedicure are super relaxing. For my bachelorette, Sue did sparkly ombre nails for me and watermelon nails for my friend. Loved how they turned out! Highly recommend the builder gel for a longer lasting manicure – mine looked great for several weeks.
