After seeing D once or twice she asked if I lived in Bethesda/Chevy Chase. She named a wealthy neighborhood. Although it was really none of her business, I said I lived in Kensington. I felt socio-economically profiled.
Before she began a haircut one time I handed her a tip envelope. She mimed putting it in her pocket and walking away. That seemed unprofessional, immature.
During another haircut, a male employee sidled up to D and said snidely, ‘Are you going to tell him about the hole?’ He was referring to the the thinning hair on top of my head. Wow. Unbelievably rude.
During the last time I saw her in June, I was trying to show her a picture of me on my mobile. I couldn’t see it well without my glasses. Suddenly, she thrust her hand under the apron cape and groped around for the glasses in my breast pocket. That felt aggressive, invasive.
These people don’t deserve my money.

Had my very first Spa Pedicure and what a great experience. My feet look and feel GREAT! Susie took care of me and she was amazing, sweet and friendly. I will definitely be back. $45 plus tip.
