I have been looking for a while for a good nail salon in Lakewood. Van at Mile High Nails has been doing nails for 20+ years. The photos don’t do them justice- she does a beautiful job. I’ve seen Anna as well and she was great. Both techs took the time to listen to what I wanted and any feedback I had. Calm environment and I never have to wait long. Check them out 🙂

I really wanted to like this place, but the only reason I even gave 2 stars is because one of my daughters nails came out ok. I took my 2 girls in last weekend for acrylic sets for all three of us. To start, it was $230 for the 3 of us, which they justified because 2 of us got designs, that legit consisted of a dot and some lines coming from it. One of my daughters nails turned out decent. My others, not so much. They were ALL crooked. Mine were so bad I almost went somewhere else to get them removed. I told her 3x I wanted stiletto nails, and showed a picture of what I wanted. I got this weird half almond shape. My left nails are all different size than my right hand. Then 6 out of 10 nails are crooked. They didn’t do any of the typical manicure things, cuticles, massage, nothing. All three of us noticed they didn’t even bring the acrylics all the way down, we left with crooked nails that look like they had a week of out growth, and $200 wasted. For spending that much money, I would have expected a lot more. Don’t waste your money, and find a better place.

I’m very disappointed. I came in with my sister (with appointment) for a dip manicure. I was vocal about what I wanted and asked not to have my nails cut but just filed into a coffin shape. After confirming I wanted coffin shaped the nail tech cut my nails into horribly jagged spikes. I asked multiple times for her to file them because they looked horrible. Eventually another nail tech had to step in because he saw that they were truly terrible but what had been done was done and he couldn’t repair the bad shape much. Multiple nail techs came up to me to ask me if I was okay because I was visibly uncomfortable with how my nails were turning out after politely asking to fix them multiple times. I was very uncomfortable with the whole situation and very disappointed with how my pretty long nails were left short, pointy, and uneven.

Got a shellac color change on my nails, unfortunately it only lasted for 3 days. It started peeling off & the layer underneath was gooey and uncured. She was very nice but seemed to not care about the quality of job she was doing. There was also still the previous nail color left on some spots of my nails even after she was finished. Seems overpriced. I’m sure they can overcharge because of the location of the salon.
