I wish I could give 0 stars. I got a refill for gel and they came out so thick and bumpy. Each one is a different shape as well. On top of that, there is acrylic and glue stuck to the bottom of the nails that she refused to take off. I asked the lady multiple times to fix the shape and she refused, and then at the end demanded a tip and was very rude. Do not recommend- go to Gotham Nails instead for anyone that wants tips. Cheaper and they do a great job.

maybe I came here on an off-day (given the mostly positive reviews), but I came in for a regular manicure and it felt really rushed to me. I got there at 4:17pm and was sat down to dry my nails at 4:33pm. there was barely any cuticle care, and no hand massage either 🙁 I typically don’t get my nails done in Hoboken given that it’s pricier than what I’m used to. I did this once expecting it to be a quality manicure, when it really wasn’t. my nails aren’t fully painted, and the second coat lines are quite messy. $15 for a less than 20 minute manicure is just not worth it in my opinion. didn’t have a great experience here personally, but seems like most people like it.

was my first time wanted to get full set of acrylics done was a fairly simple design they charged me $125 and the acrylic was laid on thick and bumpy and the whole session took 2 hours. i have gotten acrylics before at other places for a better price and with more complex designs and a more efficient service. would not come back and would not recommend.

I would not recommend this place after the experience I just had. I have been coming to pure nail for the last year and have never been too impressed but it’s a good location from me so I kept going. I came in for a UV gel manicure which I have been getting for 1.5 years now. First she cut my nails way too short without even asking me what length I wanted and then she applied way too much gel to my nails to the point where they were so thick and bubble looking. I payed and left the salon because I was too timid to say anything but I was so unhappy what I just got for $90 that I called them back and asked if I could come in to get them fixed. They told me to come back in and I did. However when I returned the lady told me she wasn’t able to redo my nails and I would just have to wait it out untill I got them redone in 3 weeks. She said my nails would not be able to take her thinning the gel out which I know isnt true because I have been consecutively getting UV gel manicures for years and never run into this issue. I would not reccomend Pure nails if you are looking for quality services and customer care.

Such inconsistency here which is disappointing. theyre inconsistent about the shoulder rubs (which is the best part). recently everytime i come the manicure hasnt been great. The issues were fixed but i hate being that person to keep asking for fixes.
