A Mixed Experience at Essence Nail Studio

My initial visit to Essence Nail Studio left me with conflicting impressions. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was impressed by the studio’s immaculate cleanliness, contemporary ambiance, and the warm demeanor of the staff. However, the quality of the services provided failed to meet my expectations.
Opting for an X-gel manicure, I communicated my desire for a short, delicate, and simple result to my technician.

Regrettably, the outcome did not align with my specifications. Within less than 24 hours, the color had begun to chip, and there was a noticeable disparity between the gel application and my natural nails, as evident in the accompanying photograph.
Despite the premium prices charged, the service did not justify the cost, and my Shellac pedicure left me experiencing discomfort around my toenails.
While the staff exhibited exceptional customer service throughout my visit, the inconsistency in service execution has left me apprehensive about returning to Essence Nail Studio or recommending it to others seeking reliable nail care.

This is my favorite nail salon in Irvine. I make a special trip here each time I come to California.

I was excited to see that they offer a new service “Head Spa”. I called ahead to book for a 1 hour treatment. The room had a very relaxing vibe with spa music and a lavender scent. The tech was very detailed and used various tools to massage my scalp. After the treatment I got a blow out with a warm foot bath.

I highly recommend this treatment as an extra treat on top of their other services. This will continue to be my top choice.

Made an appointment on their website and was seen right away when I arrived. The nail spa is very clean, smells nice, and had nice relaxing music. My nail technician Henry was very careful and I can tell he had alot of experience because of how detailed he was. Definitely coming back to see Henry. I had a full set acrylics with French tips. The location has plenty of parking.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Quinn for a nail session, and I must say, she’s a true artist in the realm of nail care and design. Every minute spent under her meticulous care is a testament to her dedication and skill.

I visited this place less than a week ago and got a chance to leave a review. They charged me $82 for a very short gel x which was recommended by their manager which I don’t know her name. She was like these are pre cut and they last 3-4 weeks and they dont damage your nails like the acrylic would do and i was like okay i trust you and pay double to get gel x. Within just a couple of hour of leaving that place the glue started to rise up and made my fingers very uncomfortable and felt very heavy on them. As you see in these pix the nail polish is already messed up and looking very unclean and ugly. I contacted her within that 2 hours and asked if i can comeback and get these off and get my money back because they looked way too ugly and just dirty and she was like sorry we don’t offer refunds but we can have you come back and take the nail polish off AND IF NEEDED we’ll remove the gel x and redo it again. I just didn’t go because I never got time to go as early as I could but needed to leave this review for sure.
