The salon is very clean and attractively decorated. The stylists are very professional and pleasant. I do not speak Spanish and my nail tech spoke very limited English. This presented some real difficulties when the bilingual receptionist/nail tech had to leave the salon unexpectedly.
The manicure was going well until my nail tech cut my cuticle very deeply and it began to bleed. She used an antiseptic and stopped the bleeding.
I was instructed to choose a nail color prior to my manicure and I carefully set the sample aside. However, the nail tech scooped it up with all the other samples and used a color SHE chose. (Not happy, but had no way to communicate what was wrong.) It has lasted a couple of weeks. It took over two hours to complete the process—quite a bit longer than I had anticipated. The price was in line with other local salons.

Worst pedicure experience ever! The pedicure station is a dining chair and a small bathroom sink with a wooden shelf to put your feet on. Thre shelf is not secured to anything so it’s sliding around as the tech is trying to work in your feet. If you’re tall, it is extremely uncomfortable bc you can’t adjust the distance of the seat bc it’s a CHAIR….I had to hold my leg up on the wooden shelf. In addition to the odd pedicure seating, there were flies everywhere and a bad smell of standing water. For some reason, the tech couldn’t paint my nails and had to find another person to do it. Really weird experience…will NOT be back! Left w mediocre pedicure and back pain from being uncomfortable.

I am very pleased with the excellent service I’ve received in AV beauty studio. The staff is very friendly and professional. Andrea Is amazing, her work shows how passionate she is. I’m also happy with Ninoska, she is very sweet. Also pleased with Guido’s waxing and henna service. They all take their time to do an amazing job and are attentive to detail. Will definitely be coming back.
