Mary is an amazing nail technician. She is always willing to try the things I bring to her. She takes her time and always makes sure I like my nails throughout the process. From engagement to wedding to everyday Mary has knocked my nails out of the park. She takes pride in her work and I love going to her.🩷

I’ve visited this salon off and on since last year. Overall, this salon is the one I prefer in the Indianola area. They are friendly and prices are a few dollars more than other salons in the area but still competitive. They accept payment via cash and card. I saw a sign that offered a discount when paying with cash. It did not specify what the discount was, only that there was one. I have found them to be up front with prices and easy to communicate with. They let you know prices BEFORE performing services, so there are no surprises later (much appreciated!). Scheduling appointments has been easy thus far.

I visited the salon again today and was thrilled with the services I received. May was ready and met me exactly at my scheduled appointment time. (Unsure of the name spelling, so sorry if it is wrong!) She patiently assisted me with matching the natural nail color photo I’d found online and appreciated her suggestion as it was spot on! She worked efficiently yet meticulously. She made sure my nails looked their best. She did not rush and paid attention to detail. She made me feel as though I was her most important client at that moment and I truly appreciated that. As someone who enjoys quiet time, I appreciated her friendliness and politeness without the pressure of having to answer a bunch of questions or keep a conversation going. After a long week at work and home, sometimes it was nice to rest and not have to engage.

The salon is small (cozy). When they are busy, maneuvering around can be a bit challenging due to the number of people and the layout/small space. Decorations are nice, in good taste, and not overwhelming. They often play soothing music (not today, though) on the TV on the wall. I can not remember any instances where the salon was dirty. The workstations seem well supplied with materials and are kept clean. Tools seem to be clean and sanitized as well.

I did notice a few things walking in. The front steps have a few missing/lifting anti-slip strips. The broken door latch remains. That is something I noticed last year when I visited and has not been repaired. I watched people walk up to the door and attempt to open it with the latch only to find it was not usable (just as I did, ha ha!). The hand rail seems ok and seems like it would be supportive if someone needed to use it. It is not close to the door so one would have to step down before reaching it. Looking around during my visit I did not observe any wheelchair access despite the Google listing saying there was. I asked May about this and she confirmed that there was no wheelchair accessible entrance. I did not see a bathroom, and with the limited space, I don’t imagine a wheelchair or assistive device would be easy to maneuver there.

While I am not thrilled with the lack of accessibility for those who utilize mobilty aids (wheelchairs, roller-walkers, etc), I would recommend this salon over others in the area. I appreciate having the ability to schedule an appointment and actually be seen at my scheduled time. I felt my time was respected. I also appreciated the care May took while making my nails look their best. She is the ultimate professional and I am grateful for her services. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment to have my nails done by her again.

Price and customer service is great and amazing! The prices are amazing compared to Des Moines area salons. $35 for a basic pedicure. They have a cute and clean salon. The pedicure itself is amazing and lasted me a while!

So courteous and conscientious of any additional cost in pricing. Aunt very fair in making sure you know exactly what you are going to get and what you are paying for. Great local addition to our community.

My favorite nail salon by far. Been to many, but what I love the most is how friendly and sweet the people are here. I love how much they communicate abt how you want the nails to look. Atmosphere is homey and pleasant. I also love them because no matter how many they have appointments they still manage to squeeze in random Walk-ins! Because I am not the best at making appointments 😆 thank you ladies who’ve worked on my nails. God bless you guys, y’all’s are precious ♥️
