I’ve gotten my nails done at LaVie 5 different times now, and I am overdue for a review. The lady who does the best job is the one that sits right next to where you sign in for service. She is meticulous and does a detailed job and I have yet to have a nail break. I’ve only done gel acrylic nails 💅🏻 and fills I don’t have an opinion on pedicures.

If you don’t want to wait long don’t go in on a Saturday. They’re open until 7pm M-F so go in at those days to avoid a huge line of ladies.

To the people who had bad reviews. If you wait forever to get your nails done you will pay more for a fill. If you ask at the beginning of the service what the price is and ask to pay they will not charge you extra. Just always ask and seem price conscientious and they won’t f with you. #protip

I was a walk in so the wait was expected however when I was taken to station 5 the person doing my nails seemed like she was rushing. My cuticles weren’t cleaned up and I she snipped me 3 times while doing my Nails.

My daughter went in for powder dipped nails and was told by the technician that the fills would be $25 each time after the initial set was done. She went back in 2 weeks and the fill was $55- not $25. The technician told her that the original set was not done well (same location, different person) and did them thinner this time…the following day her nails started chipping badly and she went back to have them fixed and they just filed them down to hide or get rid of the chips and sent her on her way, the next after that they continued to chip and she ultimately had to soak them off at home and just paint her nails at home. This place is a joke- they only care about money and how fast they can get you done and out the door- they do not care about doing quality work. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

Update 12/31/2022: a little more than a month later, the damage done to my nails from this manicure is about half way grown out. I didn’t realize at the time of my original review she had used the drill as much or more than should be used to prep for acrylics. For a no polish manicure. It would be generous to assume this was unintentional.
Original review: I had a gel manicure here two weeks ago and was very satisfied, Anna was my technician. She introduced herself and provided excellent service. Based on that experience I would have given five stars, and that’s why I’m giving two stars instead of one. I went in yesterday to have the gel removed and get a manicure with no polish. The technician who saw me i assumed was the manager as she was directing other technicians, answering the phone and acknowledging customers as they entered. I was pressured to have gel polish or powder dip and declined. I was rushed in and out, left with two cuts in my cuticles, one that’s still bleeding today when uncovered. My nails were cut down but not shaped. The technician was not at all apologetic when she cut my cuticles open, in fact when i winced and pulled my hand back instinctively, she told me to “just relax.” Terrible manicure and worse customer service. Will not return.

I’ve been sitting here in my station for over an hour now with the water just running. A gentleman came over to do my massage but has not touched my color or my toes. Someone came in just 10 minutes ago is already getting her pedicure. This will be my last visit to this nail salon
