UPDATE: The technician did call and did respond to this review offering a visit at no cost, however I did not take the call or call back. I chose not to and received services somewhere else. Since she did reach out, I added a star because it showed she dis want to address the issue and meet my needs. So thank you to the nail tech.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Yesterday, 5/26 I went to this nail salon to get a gel manicure, and I wasn’t impressed by the results but was assured that it would last 2 weeks. After only 2 hours, the gel chipped and peeled off. I am extremely disappointed with the results.

I immediately called to let the technician know and she asked me to come in so she can fix it. I reminded her that I had a previous commitment, which is why I went to get my nails done in the first place. She asked me to come in at 9:30 today 5/27 immediately changed the time to 10 AM. I agreed. I arrived at 9:45 to be on time for her. I’m not sure if she arrived afterward but I waited 15 minutes. As an individual with limited time, I am disappointed that the technician didn’t show up.

I gave her a chance to address the issue, and it didn’t happen. I will not be returning.

I visited with two friends who both got pedicures and loved the service. I had a gel manicure and pedicure. The pricing was reasonable, and the staff did an excellent job. I’m thrilled with how both my manicure and pedicure turned out! They didn’t rush and took their time, and now, a few days later, my nails still look fantastic!

So nice to take me as a walk in appointment for dip powder nails. Other places have done only 3 layers of color, but she did more and made a base layer before applying the 3 layers of color. I really appreciate that! My nails feel and look great!

The person who did my nails was very sweet and lovely but I did not know how to execute the manicure in a way that kept them on long. The person did not know how to do the nails with an apex in them meaning the area that needed to be reinforced and is reinforced when nails are done with extensions is weakened due to the lack of an apex. The day after I got them done to nails had popped off and when I had gone back on tuesday they said I had to wait till the following day to see the person who did my nails or pay to have them fixed and then over so I waited until Wednesday to get them done again. The person did not know what an apex was even after showing them a picture of how the nails should look like so instead I just got thicker flat nails instead of nails done properly. thankfully I did not have to pay for the service but it was very disheartening to sit there for another two hours after having been in there for three hours the other day and having the same result and not being happy with it.

edit: Three days after getting my nails done one has broken off again. it is very frustrating because they are lumpy and not done well and nearly ripped my natural nail off in the process I would not go back here again. Further more when the person was doing my nails over for the second time they were very rough and kept “accidentally” hurting my fingers when they were putting down the nails. The pain that I fell it’s the second time from the “accidents” did not happen the first time when I was a new client

This place is TERRIBLE. I called to see if they were accepting walk I s and the girl hi answered the phone told me to come in, there would be no issue. I only waited for about 10 mins or so but the trouble started when the girl did my pedicure. She was extremely rough, and I don’t get pedicures often so I wasn’t sure if the pain I was feeling was normal. It hurt so bad I was clenching the arm chairs. Then when she finished scrubbing my feet I noticed that the edges of my toe nails were bleeding. The pedicurist took a green liquid and started placing it on the bleeding areas but she didn’t even bother to explain what it was for! I had to look at the name on the bottle and look it up because she kept no communication with me. And on top of that one of my toes wouldn’t stop bleeding, which she didn’t address either. She waited a few minutes and then when the bleeding stopped she painted the last toe. I was in so much pain and on top of that I was embarrassed because I wasn’t sure if any of this was normal. I texted my friend while it was happening and she told me that it absolutely wasn’t normal and that I shouldn’t pay her. I’ve never not paid for any services but how could I pay for something that left my physically injured? After my toes dries the girl tried to charge me but I told her I wasn’t paying when it hurt to walk. That’s not how I walked in and that’s not something I was going to accept. She kept telling me that it was because I hadn’t gotten a pedicure in a long time and that this situation would’ve happened anywhere. Which is FALSE because nail technicians are not supposed to do anything to create open wounds. She kept telling me that she has her license and that she knows what she’s doing but the end result speaks for itself. This is a terrible place. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. That girl must have bought her license online or something.
