I was a walk in to get a gel manicure with no current polish or gel on my nails. The lady rushed the entire process even though there was no one else in the salon. She only put two coats of color gel polish on my nails and the color was still see through and not built up all the way. I asked for another coat and she refused and said if she put another one on then the polish would peel off easy. I let that go even though I was not happy with the passive aggressive answer. She finished a full gel manicure in 15 minutes. It was insane. No massage, poor cleaning and a half color on my nails. Now it’s been less than a week and the gel polish is totally peeling off!! I’m furious. It was a waste of $50 and I didn’t even have a good experience in the shop. So disappointed, would love a refund.

I have been going to the salon since I first moved to Frederick. Lena, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. The service is top notch. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Everything is clean and sanitized. Lena and all of her coworkers are very detailed and creative and wonderful at helping pick out colors and designs and helping me think outside the box. I highly recommend this salon. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the best in Frederick! Super soft pedicure chairs that recline, exceptional customer service provided amidst an atmosphere of tranquility and calm. For a most relaxing experience and services performed by highly skilled nail technicians look no further than Modern Chic Day Spa Nails! The technicians are extremely careful and meticulous, especially with the polish application. Not a speck out of place! Ultimate perfection! The massages are wonderful and really enhance the experience! We’re so grateful to have found this business conveniently located in the 7th street plaza by the Common Market and an exceptional pizza shop! Love getting our nails done here! I have been to this nail salon a few times to get my eyebrows done and each time the price has been different and increased. Today the lady rushed my wax and took a total of 2 minutes on my eyebrows and expected me to pay $16.75. She then tells me that there’s a $1.75 fee. Fee for what? This is just absurd. Expensive for horrible quality. Please do not waste your time here. I am really disappointed and won’t be going back

Jade is awesome. If you’re looking for a nail tech that is consistent in delivering high-quality quality work, she does it. The nail salon is very clean and esthetic. Everyone is very nice.
