I got charge 80 dollars for gel nails. Not only did they charge for gel and dip they charged for the French, the design, and the tips on top of it! On top of that I bled twice from being sliced with the file! Save your money and chose a salon that actually cares about there customers. Lots of better options!

I sent a family friend there because I have heard great things about this place. Once she got there it was an hour for her treatment (not a big deal). But the kicker lies in where she, my friend, asked to get nails taken off and colored within the time alloted for said treatment. In the middle of the treatment her technician received a set of colors from some random and the tech just walked up and started doing somebody else’s nails leaving my friend high and dry with absolutely no completion of the treatment she went in for. I know the customer is usually one of the most important aspects of a business, but if this place treats their customers like this I will not be sending anybody there anymore. Great job Lantana Nail Salon!?

The man who did my nails was very creepy and very out of the ordinary. He took over 30 minutes just straight filing them and made them way shorter than I wanted. He was rude and also didn’t even do the nails right or wash my hands off. None of my nails are the same size or shape and I left very disappointed in Lantana Nail. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Have been coming to this salon for several years, once or twice a year when I’m in town visiting friends and we’ve been disappointed every single time.

I got a gel manicure and a peppermint pedicure, and the quality of both services was poor. I had asked for one nail that broke and lifted off the nail bed to be repaired, and the guy tried to sell dipping my finger in powder as the repair. I told him that would absolutely not work, and had to convinced him to place a tip and properly repair it. However this gel manicure started chipping off after five days, which never happens to me with other gel manicures, let alone at the tip of the nails. I’m never hard on my hands, don’t constantly wet them. The polish was just applied too thinly and with not enough coats, and he placed the polish so far from the cuticle they looked outgrown by that afternoon. A couple of the nails weren’t filed evenly (they were long and I told them to please trim them to be even) and he never gave me a chance to look at them before he completed it either. I only use open toed sandals and two nails on my right foot lost the polish not even 3 days after getting them done (when done elsewhere it never comes off), before the event I wanted them done for happened. The massage was short but satisfactory.

My friend got french tipped manicure and pedicure that neither of us noticed had squigly lines and had white paint dripped in one of the nails, so I wasn’t the only one disappointed.

We had mid morning appointments in the middle of the week so we they weren’t busy and there was no wait fortunately, although we also had appointments for our services, which helped their timeliness. They’re very nice, and the place is pretty, but they are much more expensive than the place I go to in Cheviot Hills (adjacent to Beverly Hills, so I’m not skimping or crying over $) back home and the quality just doesn’t measure at all. They just don’t put the same attention to detail even though they have the time for it. Sadly, we’re going to need to find a different place when I come back for the holidays. We’ve given this place plenty of chances.

They took the gel off my nails by using a scrapping tool. Yes the gel came off, but so did layers of my nails. Not to mention, it hurt like crazy. Then the polish….I left with it all around my nails. And the nails themselves are uneven. Literally the worst job I’ve ever seen, I knew I should have waited and gone to my regular salon. Save your money and find another place.
