My sister and I had a very warm and pleasant experience. We were greeted by the manager. I loved Kelley; she did my pedicure and the massage was what I needed. She took her time, and didn’t do a rush job like some techs. Very good customer service and friendly. I have a brain fog of the lady who did my nails. But she did an awesome job. I like to be different and she did a great job making my nails different. I think I’ll have her as a regular nail tech! Great service.

I can’t tell you how in love I am with my nails! I had so many compliments! The staff are all so kind and nice! They repaired my nail when one broke. I had such a great experience!! I definitely recommend and will come back!

I recently visited Sky, High Nails in Grand Prairie and had a mixed experience. The salon has potential, but there are several areas needing improvement.

Firstly, there was a miscommunication regarding my pedicure. I requested regular polish, but the technician applied gel polish without confirming if that’s what I wanted. Since I was getting my hands and feet done at the same time, I wasn’t really paying attention to what was happening with my feet. I appreciate that the manager addressed this issue and did not charge me for the gel polish, which shows their commitment to customer service.

However, my dip manicure was another story. The nail technician performing the manicure cut me multiple times with the nail file. She was working too quickly and aggressively, causing discomfort and minor injuries. This aspect of the service needs significant improvement.

Another major concern is price transparency. Online and in-store, the advertised price for a dip manicure is $45, but I was charged an additional $18 for the manicure service itself. The manager explained this discrepancy as a glitch in their system, but this is unfair to customers. Additionally, I was charged $5 for shaping my nails into an almond shape, despite them already being in that shape when I arrived. My dip manicure with an almond shape cost $68! My rock pedicure was a more reasonable price at $38.

On a positive note, I enjoyed the overall ambiance of the salon. Being offered wine or a mimosa added a nice touch to the experience, making it feel more luxurious and relaxing.

Overall, while I am open to trying Sky, High Nails again, they need to work on confirming customer requests, ensuring careful and gentle service, and aligning their online and in-store pricing to avoid misleading customers.

I’m new to the dfw area and I needed a place to get my nails done, but I’m picky. I’m a cosmetologist by profession and I am very particular about any service I receive. Y’all, from the time I walked in, till the time I sat in the chair, everyone was so super nice and accommodating! Everyone was polite and the energy is so positive and chill Y’all! My nail technician was Annie! She was so sweet and funny too! The people in the front were so nice and polite and not one person was rude or ignorant! I’m from Chicago where that is expected, but not here! If you want a place that is friendly and has great positive energy, Sky High Nail Spa is it, frfr!

I visited the location on my way to Ikea and decided to stop. I recently moved to Tx from Ga and couldn’t find a nail salon that did gel manicures to my satisfaction until today.

Sky High does great manicures, they are professional, knowledgeable, clean, great ambience, and know how to do all types of nails! The client services are excellent! Kevin, the manager, does an excellent job managing the place! Ashley, my manicurist, did a great job with my nails! They exceeded my expectations and I will be a loyal client as a result. You definitely should try Sky High Nails. You will be happy.
