I booked a last minute appointment with Johanna for a polish change. She did a great job and paid attention to detail. Also because she had the availability, she was able to squeeze me in for a gel x fullset.
She listened to what my needs were and provided a very warm and inviting atmosphere. I had a wonderful experience, will definitely book again.

Great nail salon! I moved to Richmond a little over 2 years ago and have been STRUGGLING to find a nail salon that I love. I wanted some place that did gel-x, could do designs, last minute appointments, and wasn’t charging an arm and a leg! Thankfully I found 425! It hits all those boxes and more. The vibe at the salon is amazing and Jo does a great job on my nails. I’ve gotten so many compliments on each set I’ve gotten. I’d highly recommend giving this salon a visit if you’re in need of some gorgeous nails.

I love love love this place! I’ve been going here for almost a year, getting a manicure twice a month. My first visit was so thorough, I filled out a questionnaire asking about my nail goals and anything the techs should be aware of. (Not something I’ve ever experienced before!) The owner, Keta, gave me care instructions to look after my jewels 😉 I’ve been seeing Joanna as my tech every time thereafter and I am always so happy with my set. She is such a great artist and someone to talk with, any time I have a question she is happy to answer!
The shop is always extremely clean and welcoming, it has never smelled like a chemical bath like most nail salons. I LOVE that this place is appointment-only, I feel like I’m actually being taken care of instead of being just another customer crammed into the day. If I can’t reach someone on the phone, someone always gets back to me quickly by either text or call.

Very different atmosphere. Housed in an old warehouse, repurposed as a loft. Beautifully decorated. Only 2 pedicure chairs, looking more like a baby shower chair than the standards in every other spa. Funky music pipes in completed the feel that I was at home.
Not overcrowded as it’s appointment only. Not loud, no smell of chemicals…
I was very impressed, and my feet look gorgeous. I will be going back again and again…

Came here to support a black business and it was a nice vibe in there. Within 2 days, my nails popped off as if they were press ons. When I got them fixed, they charged me…..when I can back to get a new full set (because the rest of my nails popped off) I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. I got my nails done & didn’t check the quality of the shaping intensely because I assumed the owner would provide quality work. When I got home I realized that my nails were all different sized and shapes. I called to cancel the appointment I made for the future and expressed my dissatisfaction….nothing, no accountability or care for the complaint. Never will come here again.
