This was my first time at Grow salon+ Wine Bar and I loved it! It was welcoming, bright inside and an overall great experience! I chose Miranda to do my transformational haircut and heat styling and she did an amazing job!! I will 100% be coming back to Miranda, she is so friendly and kind! She made my first ever Shag so cute and listened to all my preferences! Thank you so much Miranda, it was a delight meeting you🫶🏻

I had been wanting to try this place ever since I moved to Georgetown but I don’t cut my hair regularly. I finally decided it was time to get a trim and put some layers back in my hair. When I made the appointment online there was basically a questionnaire to fill out and the option to upload a picture of what your hair looked like now and what you wanted your hair to look like after the appointment. I uploaded both pictures and honestly my expectations weren’t high cause I never fell like I get exactly what I want, it’s always some very close variation to what I want but In the end I’m never really 100% happy. At the salon Beth didn’t talk much about the picture, I believe she did mention she saw it but didn’t reference it much. She asked me some good questions about my hair and I told her how very low maintenance I was with it. I was a little worried because anytime I’ve showed a hair stylist a photo of the cut I want they tend to look at it quite a bit but Beth didn’t. Well, Beth was AMAZING! She did EXACTLY what I wanted. Beth kept the length I wanted and gave me ALL the layers I wanted. And she did the layers just right that when I have my hair in a ponytail you can still see the layers I have. This is the first time I’ve ever really actually LOVED my haircut. I’m so pleased with the work Beth did and will definitely be requesting her for my next cut! 🙂

Out of the almost 100 reviews on Google, I’ve only written 1 bad one.

I’m super disappointed because I wanted to love this salon since it’s close to my house. My cut was perfectly done too!! However, I told her I wanted to go back to my natural shade/hair color. She said she recommended I go a little darker so I don’t come back within a week asking for a toner. I agreed because, what do I know about hair! Well, I left with it almost black (my natural shade is a medium to dark brown). I thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a week to grow on me or fade. I used hot water and clarifying shampoo every single day. A week later, it’s still EXTREMELY dark.

I tried to call to see if they would fix it for me but they said it’s outside of their policy for fixing something. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if I had known I had 2-4 days to make a complaint. I would’ve called sooner. I told them it would’ve been nice if my stylist told me that upfront in person since she knew she went darker than I wanted.

They offered to do a treatment that could potentially lighten it a bit but it would cost me another $100 after the $400 I spent on the initial appointment…. I just said to cancel my future appointments.

I’m not angry I’m just extremely sad because she didn’t tell me I had to live with this color for 6 months apparently??? she said it would fade in a FEW WEEKS. I’m going to have to either live with it or get it done by another salon. I’m so disappointed

I love this salon. I’ve had a different stylist since my usual lady left, however every stylist is knowledgeable, kind, and very welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience. I even started taking my daughter here, which she loves. Their products they use smell good and clean. Booking online is easy and efficient.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lanya! I have been to see her a few times over the past couple of years and I always leave with my hair feeling so refreshed and beautiful. Not only is she an amazing stylist, but she is incredibly kind and welcoming as well!!
