I lived in Mount Dora for 20 years I always like shopping in this store because it’s smaller and more personal and I love their nuts and bolts area because you can buy one if you need one or many but you don’t have to buy 12 or 20 of something if you only need one. I also like all their landscaping and lawn Care products that’s a big thing that I go for and they also have good paint promotions

I have been a loyal customer of this location for over 20 years, consistently receiving excellent service until today. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with an employee named Terry left me feeling unsafe and disrespected.

Upon entering the store, Terry immediately became confrontational and followed me out into the parking lot, where he aggressively confronted me, egging me on to engage in physical violence. As a customer, I should never have to defend myself from an employee’s inappropriate behavior, especially from someone over 65 years old who should know better.

Despite this unpleasant encounter, I must commend the manager for their handling of the situation. They remained calm, respectful, and addressed the issue with the professionalism it deserved.

Overall, my experience at this location was marred by Terry’s unacceptable behavior. I sincerely hope that management takes appropriate action to ensure that customers are treated with the respect and safety they deserve in the future.

The staff that mixed the paint I purchased did not secure the lid, and when I went to place on the floor of my car paint spilled all over the inside of my 6 month old car. The staff seemed like I was inconviencing them by asking for paper towels, and the manager could not have cared less to make amends. Long gone are the days of quality bussinesses and customer service.

First time in today. Passed 2 employees before going in. Many store employees in the store (I believe we passed 4). No greets. No pleasantries. No asking if we needed help. Personification of MEH. Won’t be back when there are so many options.

I called a local locksmith to see about programming a car FOB. They could not do, but they referred me to ace. I called, and between 11-230 they do the laser cut and programming your car. I was skeptical, but ran right over. Sure enough they do. All good, and working.
