Customer Reviews:
Tulip they increased prices 3-4xs last year, I specifically requested Van for a pedicure and dip no one does nails great like her so I came back for her and willing to pay their price. Lee Lee initially arranged for Van to handle the dip first, but the situation took a turn when I ended up with John, Van’s husband, for a pedicure. I’m uncomfortable with men, especially John, handling my feet due to his excessive talking and subpar work. Asking me questions like “where do you live” he wanted to know the exact area and asking “do you have a man?” etc.
After HE MESSED UP my regular polished feet, by touching the polish. He insisted on applying gel, which I never wanted and made clear to him but I took because I was 1 of the last customers of the day and I was ready to go. Which resulted in an even longer time at the nail shop. “I INSISTED” THAT HE TELL LEE LEE WHAT HE DONE when HE messed up my toes and to clarify that I wouldn’t be responsible for the gel removal fee upon my return. He was acting scared to tell Lee Lee but I kept telling him go tell her what you did.
Fast forward ⏩ upon my return, Lee waived the $5 fee for the gel removal. However, I encountered difficulty when I requested Van for both services, as Lee Lee declined, and set me with an alternative technician who lacked proficiency in pedicures (see pics). Despite being willing to pay for Van’s services & specifically requesting Van (and Lee Lee saying ok when I tell her I want Van for both services) I couldn’t comprehend why she was restricted from my pedicures a SECOND TIME ON MY SECOND SERVICE.
The subsequent pedicure, administered by another technician, left my feet in a THIN, UNEVEN and NOW requiring ongoing recovery ❤️🩹(see pic). Not to mention a lack of proper soaking off and the inappropriate conversation during the session added to the discomfort. The man doing the pedicure beside me (Tina’s brother) was talking about women being Gold diggers and how he could tell men in Miami had money and how women want money. It was super uncomfortable & unprofessional.
Lee Lee’s recent changes in polishes led to an unsatisfactory color outcome, exacerbated when I accidentally messed them up this time on my 2nd visit. Although the technician attempted to rectify the situation, I ultimately decided against any color.
Lee Lee’s reaction to my dissatisfaction was intense, with her becoming angry and yelling at me, questioning why I returned if I didn’t appreciate their pedicures. Despite my clear preference for Van, Lee Lee repeatedly denied me of her services, placing me with technicians I did not prefer. I believe that, like with nail services, I should have the right to choose who works on my toes.
I was contemplating on whether to write this review, yet I’ve decided to share my experience as my toes continue to heal ❤️🩹. Lee Lee asked me not to ever return. Accused me of messing up my color with John and doing it again purposely on my 2nd appointment in which John messed up my toes the 1st time not me.
I hope no one comes here to get services because of Lee Lee yelling at me, accusing me, walking off after I tried to offend myself, and not speaking to me professionally. I am a professional and a staple in my community and the disrespect hurt my feelings and if not for nothing I really liked Lee Lee and Van. I feel I am owed an apology, free service for both my feet and nails with who I want unless of course there’s a special reason I can’t ¥ obviously you can’t make someone provide a service
Please see picture ON GOD, BIBLE my feet didn’t look like this before the pedicure and gel polish. Zoom in on my colored toes if you can look how unprofessional they look and how thin that polish is.. they owe me an apology.
