I am so unbelievably frustrated! I used to love this place, and my nails would always look perfect, which is why I kept coming back; I’ve even referred multiple people -about 6 of my friends go there regularly because of my recommendation! However, the last time I got my nails done, they were extremely thick. Despite my frustration, they redid my nails and thinned them out, though they couldn’t accommodate me until the following week. I appreciated their effort to rectify the situation and decided not to write a bad review because they had usually done my nails well and handled the issue professionally.

However, yesterday’s experience has pushed me beyond my limit. Getting my nails done is a luxury, and with my hectic schedule, I don’t have much time to spend on myself. It’s incredibly frustrating to have to keep going back to get my nails fixed. Today, I noticed the top layer of gel had completely peeled off. I didn’t touch or pick at it, yet underneath the gel was wet and sticky, as if it hadn’t dried properly. My nails look horrible, and I’m extremely upset because I spent almost $100, including tip, for a gel fill and expected quality work.

I am deeply disappointed because I loved this place, but I can no longer trust them to do my nails correctly. I’ve included videos of both situations. I was willing to overlook the thick nails, but after yesterday, I am beyond frustrated. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back here. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this has my blood boiling due to the price and inconvenience. They need to understand that not everyone can afford to get their nails done every week, so when we do, it’s a treat. It’s unacceptable for the gel to bubble up and still be wet underneath the next day.

I also want to mention that writing this review brings me no pleasure. In fact, it pains me because, as I said, I love this place, which is why I didn’t give it just one star. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years because they used to be great, and they’re also extremely kind, polite, and the manager is so nice and likable. The salon is beautiful, clean, and has great parking. But these positives don’t make up for the poor quality of work.

It also saddens me that I now have to find a new place, which we all know can be difficult. Their great qualities don’t justify wasting my money on subpar work. I am also the last person who would write a bad review because it feels shameful for me, and I shouldn’t have to feel that way. I understand that everyone is struggling and trying to make a living, which makes it all the more horrible for me to do this because it’s not in my character. But the service has become just that bad.

I had an amazing experience at 12twelve Nail Salon in the Marina! The salon is chic and relaxing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. My gel manicure was flawless, with a fantastic selection of colors to choose from. The salon is impeccably clean and follows all safety protocols, making me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend 12twelve for top-quality nail services. I can’t wait to return!

The staff was incredibly professional and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable and pampered throughout my visit.

They always do an amazing job. I am showing you my nails that have lasted me for the last four weeks going on five weeks. They do such an amazing job that they last me so long. everyone is so sweet and so amazing and so helpful.

I had such a great experience at 12Twelve Nail Bar. I was flying in from out of town so I made an appointment the night before. That morning my flight was delayed and it was too early to call due to the time difference. The chat function worked like a charm. I was able to get my appointment changed quickly because of their fast response. When I walked in later that day, it was so incredibly busy but they honored my appointment and I was immediately sat. Both Technicians were very kind and professional. They took their time to listen to what I wanted and then worked very diligently and carefully, leaving me with exactly what I had asked for. I was also greeted at the end of my visit by the young lady who had made my appointment over the phone and changed it for me via chat. She asked me how my flight was and introduced herself. It was such a nice personal touch!
