I’ve now given this salon three chances. My husband made my initial appointment and the appointment went good but I did think my nails chipped a little quickly. New to the area I decided to give them another chance and voice my concern to the artist from my first appointment. She insisted I needed to do dip. After three times of telling her I did not want that she agreed to do the gel for me. I showed her pictures of a white tipped ombré nail. Once she started doing them and they looked nothing like the picture she resorted back to it being my fault for not getting dip. Insisting that you can’t do that style nail with gel when I have had it done many times in other salons where I’m from. I asked for just one all over color then and she rushed through the appointment, giving me very thick gel nails. Came back today and got a pedicure. I was working through my appointment only to look down at the end and they are a completely different color than what I asked for. (Asked for a muted orange, they are hot pink) I was so frustrated and didn’t have time to do anything about it so I paid 70 dollars(with tip) for nail a color completely different than what I asked for. ALSO I’d like to note it is a 15 dollar up charge for gel. In my opinion that is a little steep, especially for them to not even tell you.
Update: this is what my nails look like two hours later???

I have a lot to say about this salon…. To start off with some to most the employees need to be TRAINED! Your experience will always depend on the person you get. You walk in and they’re just sitting on their phone as well as in the middle of you getting your nails done… like HELLO?! We have been there a few times and almost each time we spend roughly $200 or more just for 2 people getting nails and toes done. I understand that you need to set prices but this is ridiculous. Along with all of this, some people can ask for the same service but get two different things like my mom and I. One of us will get nice massages and gets into it and not rushed while the other gets slim to nothing. The attitudes here amongst some of the employees is horrible. As someone who is spending a GOOD BIT of money is crazy out of hand. I should not feel disrespected and/or feel unfairness. I suggest you train your employees better and give us what we’re actually what we’re paying for. The photo i attached is just what my mom got on her feet… and they laughed and almost let her walk out of there paying good money for that… ridiculous!

I’ve got my nails done couple of times by Mimi and I love it !!! She’s doing an amazing job. I’m one of the customers who hardly get satisfied but I’m obsessed how she does her job taking all details seriously. Love it!

This was my first time at Lil’ Nail Shop (I’m was visiting from NJ) and it was ok for the price ($43 with tip). They took me as a walk in and my nails came out fine. I typically choose OPI for gel polish but they only had DND, but lots of colors to choose from (this was #80) and they had a cute kid’s pedicure station! I didn’t love that the towel base that my hands were on was all stained with nail polish etc. I also felt that the cuticle cutting was a little rough and just not as sharp of a manicure as I’m used to, polish wise. Overall, just fine in a pinch! Thank you!

Absolutely love Lil’ Nail Shop. I came in with a crazy time consuming Christmas design request and they did an amazing job. I showed her what I would like and instead of saying no or she couldn’t do it, she started and another technician did the intricate details. Thank you Lil’ Nail Shop. See ya next week.
