My sister had recommended this place to me for designs. My usual girl had mentioned she wanted to retire so I thought I’d check them out. I arrived early and was greeted upon entry. I told the woman that I had an appointment for a fill. She tried to push me to get a manicure and pedicure. When I refused, she tried to get my boyfriend to get ones. They offered a seat beside him. It had a pillow in it. She pushed my boyfriend forward to grab the pillow. I didn’t see this, but he told me after we left because she had done the same to me, putting the pillow behind my back. I was not asked about this. I don’t appreciate people just touching me. The girl who did me, Lilly, was nice, but kept trying to push me to get a different kind of polish, even trying to convince me to let her do a full new set. I had gotten a new set the previous time and I told her this. When she finally agreed on what I wanted (a gel acrylic fill) she tried to argue on the coloring that I had wanted. She tried saying that the ombre I wanted needed done in a different type. I’ve had ombre before in gel. I was firm with what I wanted, a black and red ombre gel acrylic fill. As she finally got started, she ended up LITERALLY DREMELING INTO MY NAIL BED and into my cuticle! Almost the entire time there was someone hanging over us. Another woman had to instruct Lilly on how to do the ombre. I offered to just do a single black. She ignored me and started “testing” the effect on one nail. She didn’t let me choose what shade of red. I finally just told her that the color was fine! During the visit I showed her a few nail designs I was contemplating in the future and asked her pricing. She wouldn’t tell me a number. She just kept laughing and saying “oh that’ll be expensive!” Or “you’ll have to do a new set”. Okay, I understand that. I’m asking for a number. She gave me one number on a set which was priced over fourty dollars what my usual girl said she would charge. When I showed her the same image again at the end to confirm the price, she told me an even larger number! I was absolutely not considering returning at all. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Edit to add: They took me at 3:50. My appointment was at 4. I have long stelletos, but leaving at 5:45 isn’t okay.

I had to wait a little longer than I should have before they started as I had an appointment, but they were pretty busy so I get it. Anyways, they were all very nice and did a fantastic job!! I love how my nails turned out! Would definitely recommend

I would give this place no stars if that was possible. Both my sister and I had terrible experiences. Not only do they NOT know how to do dip, but they also dont know how to treat customers. The “owner” yelled at us and refused to remove the dip in a timely fashion. He wouldn’t even give her money back and just let her leave.

We came in to get manicures and dip powder done. They didnt do any sort of manicure, just went straight to taking off the old work and putting the dip on top. Didnt prep cuticles or anything. I was completely dissatisfied when I went to wash my hands and realized just how thick and uneven it was applied. I went to explain that the sides werent even and the “owner” started to yell at me that they had to be thick that thick and wasnt even listening to what I was trying to explain to my tech. I’ve had dip powder before and it never looked that thick or uneven. They put gel on top and it had stuck to my skin. I wasnt going to pay for that so I made them take it off.

My sister was trying to be nice and so she didnt say anything immediately but she paid $40 for gradient dip work that they said they could do but clearly couldnt. She was needing to get back to KC and didnt want to make anyone mad. I made her go back in because the work she had done didnt look remotely close to what they said they could do. When we went back in to ask for it to be removed and her money back they told us it would be an hour. They had 4 employees and only 2 were working. The owner knew she needed to get back to kc and was intentionally trying to get her to leave so he wouldn’t have to give her money back. I dont recommend this place at all. More people came in and they magically had more people available to work after the owner just told my sister that she would have to wait an hour because they were busy.

Techs are very nice. Unfortunately my gel manicure began lifting 5 days later.
