Customer Reviews:
Several of our party weren’t happy with the final results for various reasons and not wanting to argue to get what they wanted for length, color, and pattern. Patience definitely helpful.
The environment is amazing and classy the massage chairs were a great way to wait only one was working properly though. I think with some time and a few more clientele that don’t settle until they get what they want this place stands to improve and be well worth the cost.
My pedicure was $36 for a maybe 20 minute service. The technician only talked to me at the beginning to keep trying to upsell me to gel nails or other cost add on items, then didn’t say a word to me the rest of the time. The “massage” was rubbing my wet shins (didn’t even use the towel to dry them off) with lotion and oil. Only that part of my leg for like 8 minutes. Her tools didn’t come out of sterilized packaging like I was used to seeing at other salons and that make me uncomfortable. She spend more time in a massage chair after my service then I got getting my pedicure done. Not very professional. My nails turned out fine, but definitely not the level of service I’ve gotten at other establishments when I get a pedicure.
My sister’s experience was much worse than mine. She is a cosmetologist herself so she knows a lot about salons, doing nails, etc. First off, she showed the gentleman doing her nails the design/look she wanted. She didn’t get anything near that. They didn’t even let her pick her color at the end! They shredded her cuticles and she had several fingers that were bleeding after her appointment. She had to ask for cuticle oil to try and alleviate the damage they did to her cubical bed. She wanted short nails and ended up with long ones. She also had acrylic all over her fingers, which (according to her) will likely cause the nail to lift off in the next few days. It was so rough. I felt bad and in her words “that’s $60 I’ll never see again”.
Last but not least, I’m very frustrated with the dishonesty here on Google. I think Google reviews are really important and based on the history of reviews (3-4 being posted the same date from reviews that only have this company reviewed, postings happening around the same timeframe every couple of weeks) I’m pretty sure they have a bot writing their reviews or they have paid reviewers to bring up their overall star score. Our experience was more closely related to the reviews posted 8months-1 year ago from people with lots of reviews and pictures. No way to confirm, but it seems really suspicious. Also they have included in their name on Google “under new management”. This is incorrect. My sister who went with me tried them out when they first came to Twin Falls, and she told me it was the same people there…. Maybe if they spent more time/money on learning how to treat customers as they do on their online presence, they’d be a place worth spending money. Overall, I was very disappointed and hope this review can help others looking for an honest take on this establishment.
