I went to this nail shop the day before my birthday expecting to get great nails and service. In the beginning it was great, my pedicure couldn’t have been better she gave a great massage. It all went wrong when i was asked to sit in the man’s chair. He didn’t talk to me much or consult with me at all and he didn’t understand my interest. Also when prepping my nails he didn’t cut them nor clean my nails including having me wash all of the dust. He also gave me stares that wasn’t really inviting, he looked extremely annoyed and not interested. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but he never really showed me my nails and made sure i liked them until it was too late. I was very unsatisfied including the front desk service who i had to ask to call her manager because she was going to have me call for her! My only options were to get my nails redone by the same person or there’s an extra charge to get them done by someone else or get them redone later. At that point i had no choice but to walk out, she also stated the manager would call me which they never did. Overall terrible experience wouldn’t do it again. Down below on the left is the before the one that this nail shop did. And on the right is my regular nail shop. All in all, this place is a waste of money for the design to be pretty basic and messy.

Super cute place, very clean, LOTS of polish options and colors. I got the color changing polish; strawberries and cream. The girl at the front desk was super helpful when I was trying to find a color. The swatches didn’t match exactly, so she went and got them and opened the bottles for me. That was super nice.
I got a the lux pedi and gel mani. Everything was awesome. My tech did a great job on my pedi, but I wish he would have gotten my calluses a bit more.
My mani was great, but he snipped a but too much on my pinky, and it was bleeding. I didn’t even realize until I left. There was blood infused in the nail polish. I dont know if he noticed either, but I was a little concerned. Knocked a star off for that. Would give 4.5 stars if i could.
Overall, it was a great experience. I dont get my nails done often, but I will be back to Essence. And I will make sure to show up early enough to pick my polish color. 😁 it’s almost overwhelming how many options they have. Lol

I just love my nails! The photo shows my Hand Painted Nails and they are beautiful! Have never had anything other than a professional experience. I highly recommend!

Nicole is the best!!!!!!!! I love this whole nail salon. I have been to Steven and Tony as well. I enjoy everyone that works here. The staff is so kind and welcoming. Nicole not only crushes it at her nail designs ,but her style and personality are just as amazing. Whenever I see her she makes me laugh! To me she gives me exactly what I want and goes above and beyond to be true to herself. She has over 20+ years of experience and they say you are a master at 10. Nicole is a Sagittarius queen!!!

Not worth the hassle.

Much more expensive than most other nail salons for basic things (no art, no shellac).

They charge automatic 3% to cover their credit card fees. For that reason alone I probably won’t be back. You’re already expensive AND customers have to cover your operating costs? Bold… not to mention it’s literally against visa debit’s merchant rules to charge a fee for using a debit card; it IS the SAME as CASH.
