I tried this business today for the first time and sadly I will not be back. Staff was very friendly but seemed disorganized and in a hurry. I was started 10 minutes late (I arrived 10 minutes early) and finished up well before I should have. I was not listened to regarding the length of (or shape of) my nails. The dip nails came out very thick and I already see areas of separation from my nail bed. He also did not attempt to do any cuticle trimming or cleanup around my nails before or after finishing and they desperately needed it. I have NEVER been to a salon where they have not cleaned up around the nails before/after. When I came back from washing my hands he told me I was finished, however I had thick hardened dip powder underneath all of my nails and I was told this was “normal “ when I asked if he could clean up underneath. I have never had service this poor at a nail salon before. Attached are pictures from today’s appointment.

The majority of your response was incorrect information so you may have me confused with someone else. No one helped me pick a color. A man did my nails, not a woman. He just started cutting my nails and made them very short, I didn’t want that. He never mentioned that if we did a thin layer the nails will not last. I asked for rounded nails, I have square. No one ever “confirmed” anything with me during my entire appointment and never really spoke to me at all. I have been going to salons for years and I have never been charged extra to clip the cuticles, it is standard practice at every salon I have ever been to. No one should have to ask for their cuticles clipped or to make the nail area look presentable. The pictures that I posted are exactly what was done at the salon! I took the pictures right after getting home. I was not happy at the salon, I came back to your area to tell you this however by the time I came back from the sink you had already filled my seat with a new client and told me “all done”. This entire experience has been filled with terrible customer service and it disheartens me that a company would blatantly lie on a response to an honest review.

John did an amazing job and was super friendly! The only thing I would have to say is the salon is really dirty. For charging a premium I would expect better. Otherwise I am super impressed!!

UPDATE:
On day 2 I noticed “squishy bubbles” on both thumbs; uncured gel stuck between layers. Within a week one popped and gel polish oozed out. I was away on vacation, so had to redo those 2 nails myself. I knocked a star off for this, shouldn’t be happening on day 2 on $90 nails ($70 + $20 cash tip) 😭 Otherwise at 2 weeks they are still holding tight, great growth!

I showed her a picture and she absolutely nailed the colors and shape! Super fast, in and out within 35 mins (expected 45-60). Glad I made an appointment, it was packed!

This was my first visit to Luxx and I didn’t know cuticles weren’t included, wish they had offered/asked before we got started, but I will easily ask for that in the future.

Will be back for sure!

Had my nails done for the first time and I am extremely happy. Will have to see how they hold up. My nail tech was very friendly and really listened to what I wanted. I would have given five stars but the work station was not as clean as I would have liked. Update had my nails done by John at Christmas and loved, loved, loved them. Here they are today. Love this salon but still wished it was cleaner.

If you want good designs done on your nails go to Luxx!! They are absolutely incredible with doing nail designs and getting an appointment is so easy! I finally found a salon I LOVE & will not go anywhere else!
