Darling Heather
I asked for pink and white ombré and the tech said she would do it with solar and spray. Never had it done that way, but I assumed she knew what she was doing. When I expressed I was not happy due to it not looking the way I’m used to, I was met with some serious backlash. The owner intervened and offered to fix for free, even telling the tech she should have just done it all powder, but I paid for my service and knew I would never return here. The whole time the tech was behind her scowling me. Why would I ever want to risk another interaction like that again? Other than this situation, my pedicures are usually ok. Service is usually ok too. It’s also always clean and a good temperature.

This place is amazing. The people who work there are so nice and they always do an excellent job. The atmosphere is relaxing and I know I’ll get a quality manicure at a reasonable price. I generally make an appointment but they go out of their way to accommodate walk-ins. My manicure today was perfect and fast.

I have been going to this salon for a while. Today I was very disappointed with the service I received. I went to go get my eyebrows waxed and the lady kept getting wax in my hair and then pulling on my hair to try to get it out. She then ran her hands through my hair to move it and it got on my ends of the hair as well. Leaving the salon I let them know, and I still paid. But as I’m driving home I feel my hair and I see this fall out! The wax on my hair made it come out plus her pulling on it! Just over all not a good experience today.

I’ve gone in for a powder manicure a couple of times and after my last visit will not be going back. A few days after my manicure, the top layer began peeling and the nail chipped. I give them two stars instead of one because when I went back they were kind and fixed my chipped nail. However, the same chipped nail that was broken broke the following day on the other side. This has not happened with powder nails from other salons. I am sad to not be going back because the salon is clean, the staff is friendly, and I live in the area but it is hard to go back if the quality is lacking.

This place has so much potential- it’s beautiful and seems really clean for the most part. But the service is super inconsistent and every time I come here, it seems like a get hurt. I took my daughter yesterday for some NYE pedicures- she’s 5. The girl with my daughter was really kind and patient but the girl with me was rough and even when I told her several times she was hurting me, she continued to push back my cuticles with a super sharp pusher. It literally made me wince it was hurting so bad. Then she decided to take the cutter to my already torn up skin and snipped into my big toe. I yelped OUCH! And started bleeding a lot and she barely said anything. Just dumped Nick powder into it and kept going. Today the cuticle on that toe is black and hurts so bad I can’t wear closed toe shoes.
The only person to treat us well was the girl who took care of my daughter- otherwise, it was awful. No one offered us a drink and everyone seemed to want to rush us out or annoyed that I didn’t add on a bunch of other services (I didn’t do gel bc last time I did gel there- whatever brand or prep the last person did made my nail beds burn when they cured them and hurt a lot)
I came to support a neighborhood business, I came to have a nice experience with my daughter and I spent $50 on pain. My big toe is bruised and swollen and might even get infected after all this.
Sucks to live in such a small town and not be able to support the businesses there.
