Customer Reviews:
We came in and it was pretty busy, no problem. We waited in the lobby for 5-10 minutes until we were taken back. My best friend’s nail tech was ready right away, greeted her friendly, and started the consultation on what she wanted. My nail tech had yet to arrive, so I sat there for about 5 min before someone joined me. She sat down, did not even greet me, and just said “pick a color”. I explained I was hoping for something more than just a single color and showed her a simple two tone design I liked, even more simple than what my best friend’s nail tech had already started the process of for her. She looked at it and just said “No” she did not even suggest alternative or a backup, so I had to just pick one color to go with. I was so annoyed because the one thing that I didn’t want to walk out with, I was basically forced into. Additionally they came out much shorter and nubby looking than I anticipated.
Then came time to pay, it was way more than I anticipated and my best friend was charged about $30 more than me for getting some squiggly smiley faces that took less time to complete than my basic colored set.
It felt like a huge rip off, giant waste of my time, and shattered all the excitement I had for my very first professional nail appointment.
I will never, ever go here again and will discourage everyone I speak to about it from doing so too.
Called at 2 o’clock on a Sunday and asked if there were availability for a pedicure. I was told 3:15p was the first available appointment. That did not work for my schedule so then I asked if they took walk-ins. The man on the phone said they do. So I walked in 10 minutes later and signed in at the front. I was not greeted or even glanced at by anybody working for over a minute. I went to the restroom and came out to see a man at the front. He asked of I had an appointment today. I said no I do not and that I am walking in and I would like a pedicure. He told me there is no availability for pedicure today. I replied by stating when I called 10 minutes ago I was told there was an appointment open at 3:15p. He suddenly recalled that they did have an appointment at 3:15p. It was 2:15p by now. I saw about eight employees. They were all busy doing nails or pedicures. I asked if someone could run some water and I sit until the next person becomes available to do a pedicure. He said it would be an hour before I would be helped but I could soak.
I left. It felt weird. I did not appreciate the lack of customer service. I have worked in the salon industry for years and this is not the way to run a service based business in 2024.
I went across the street to Absolute Nails & Spa and was treated with respect and professionalism.
