I went there in December 2023 to remove a gel manicure. The tech was heavy handed and used grinding tools the entire time, never bothering to use a gentle scraping tool. She scratched off my entire nail bed. Now it’s February 2024 and my nails are finally growing back but half of each nail is still scratched and worn. Going to wait many more months for the rest of the nail to grow out.

If you need your nails done in the area I’d only come to star nails. AMAZING quality – they take their time and get your nails done exactly how you want. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! Trying to walk in is hard because they’re so busy – but I would never go any other place in Amherst for my nails and I’ve lived here my whole life

HUGE THANKS TO LISA!!!! She worked with me as I changed up the original design that I showed her. I love, love how my nails came out!! Lisa was very efficient and took about 45 min-1 hour to do my nails. Thanks again!

Guys.. Star Nails is my favorite nail salon in the area. I’ve come to them with nail designs or normal manicures & each time they kill it! It’s not an option, go here.
