I have patronized this establishment several times, primarily for its convenience, despite never being impressed.. However, today will be my last visit due to several concerns.
The cost does not justify the quality of service provided. I requested a specific polish color and was informed that only one similar shade was available, which I know to be inaccurate.
Additionally, my pedicure appears unfinished, and the skill level of the staff seems quite amateurish and mediocre.

I’m confused with the poor reviews of this place. I’ve been coming for several years and have always had good quality service. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and doesn’t reek of chemical smell. The only reason I’d give 4.5 if I could is there’s no music or other background noise and it is almost too quiet for me. Some relaxing instrumental music would make this place about as good as it gets.

Amending my previous review. I had great a manicure here a few weeks ago, but when I went back today the person checking people in was super rude. They were busy when I first went over, so she told me to come back in an hour, but when I came back she was immediately upset that I had come back. It was so strange. Then she tried to say that I had said I wasn’t sure if I was coming back, which isn’t true. It’s fine if you’re too busy to handle another client, but don’t tell people you have time for them later if you don’t.

Proceed with caution. This was my go to salon until I went to a salon out of town and they questioned what I had on my nails. I said regular dip powder and the technician told me it wasn’t dip. I wondered if there was some miscommunication because of the language barrier. Afterwards I remembered reading about the use of MMA in nail salons. MMA becomes really tacky and sticky, like glue, after being soaked in acetone. Every dip manicure I’ve gotten done at Poppy has been like that with removal. I think this is what the nail salon out of town was referring to. I can’t confirm they use MMA 100%, but I would look for other nail salons if you’re concerned. It’s a shame, because customer service was always good here in my opinion.

This place is terrible. The manager (may be owner, unsure) is just awful. She’s horribly rude. There is no organization. They always unapologetically run late. No one is smiling. If you try to make an appointment by phone, good luck. It’s the least accommodating nail salon I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Stay away from this place!!!
