Merv has always given me an outstanding haircut. His motto is “your the boss” so he listens to what you want and cuts it accordingly. He also gives a guarantee so you can come back and he’ll take more off (but won’t put more back!) Reasonable rates and good conversation.

I was traveling and needed a haircut and found my way here. Ms. Doris and her husband were so kind and welcoming. Ms. Doris listened to what I wanted and was so patient and careful the whole time, always checking with me to make sure I liked what she was doing and kindly adjusting the cut as we went along based on my input. She was so positive and the environment was calm and relaxed. I felt like I had been to visit friends instead of getting my hair cut.

The pictures are of my hair after washing and letting it air dry (no blow drying or products) and then flying for 9 hours. I’d say that’s a good cut!

If I’m ever in Durango again I’ll be sure to stop by for a trim. 🙂
