I haven’t gotten my nails done in a long time and I loved how Sandy did! I’ve never had any but neutral nails before. I asked for them to be thinner and she did an amazing job with my request. I’m also a little ocd about what’s underneath the nails, but I didn’t even have to worry about that with the service I got at Magic Nails. It was a great environment! Angie did a great job on my pedicure! She was able to get the ingrown sides on my big toes (from wearing steel toed boots for so long) taken care of where I’m no longer in pain anymore! I am truly thankful and will now be a regular!

I really wanted to like this place and I hate writing bad reviews. I’ll start with the positives: The customer service was great. Sandy and her sisters run the shop and it definitely has a family-friendly, welcoming feel. I received a pedicure on my first visit and it was nice. Now the negatives: The first time I got my nails done by Sandy, I appreciated how quick she was, but she did not pay much attention to the details. Before I left the salon, I noticed that my nails were lumpy. When I brought it to her attention, she said “it’s normal for that to happen with liquid gel.” Over the next couple of days, the lumps became more noticeable. I reached out to Sandy, and she corrected it. 2 weeks later, I got my nails done by Sandy again. I got liquid gel nails with gel polish. When I left the salon, my nails felt sticky. I reached out to Sandy, and she told me use alcohol. The problem I had with that, is if I’m paying for a service, I shouldn’t have to go home and do anything. The next day, 2 of my nails started chipping. I think if Sandy slowed down and paid attention more to detail, the work would be better.

**Update… since I can’t reply to the owner, that’s ridiculous that I need to pay for a full manicure so that a nail tech doesn’t get polish all over my skin causing it to PEEL IN 2 DAYS I could understand if I had long overgrown cuticles but you can see I already gave myself a manicure. And really because I left without saying I was unhappy it excuses this? It already took her 30 mins and I know re doing it means soaking it all off in acetone and starting again, which is not good for my natural nails. Now 2 days later they’re already peeling. I’m out of town 40 minutes away, so no coming back in to show you doesn’t work for me. $35 for it to peek in two days…. your excuses really don’t mean anything to me. *****I really wanted to like this place, the girl was so sweet and nice but my god… first of all I was over charged. Website says $20 for gel polish change. I was charged $25 then $5 for the two glitter nails, I can understand that glitter is more expensive, I just wish she would have told me before. For $30 I would’ve just got a full gel manicure since my nails are natural. I was in a rush to leave and didn’t think about it. Now looking at my nails, my remaining polish is left (the burgundy), they aren’t covered all the way, there’s polish on my cuticles which will lift and peel in a few days making it not last very long at all. There’s glitter all over my finger she wiped the sides with her finger, which works quickly but ultimately leaves polish behind (acetone and brush is faster and more effective). The girls were all sooo nice and friendly. I’m a nail tech so I guess I’m more picky I hope they take it as positive feedback. The acrylics on their website look incredible!

I always receive excellent service at Magic Nails!! Sandy keeps my natual nails looking beautiful with liquid hard gel. After moving back to the area I went through 4 nail techs and months of frustration before I found her. She’s a keeper!!
